I found Allied Pickfords more than than just efficient....they were downright helpful. I was in a pickle with my stuff; they willingly held it in storage. There was the massive bonus of courtesy at WA end and at Alice Springs.
Thinking of moving....think Allied Pickfords.

Would like to have put half a star, made my move to South Australia, one of the most distressing experiences I have ever experienced. The S.A. End was better but the Pert firm had broken antiques before they had got them out of the house, then put French Polish cupboards on end on wet grass .a total bunch of morons, avoid like the plague !

There are many removalist company's out there but the only difference between them is that Allieds offers a service, no cowboys, people who enjoy there job and do a dam good job at it.
I really believe Allied Pickfords is the best.

Moved my home furniture with Allied interstate. When my furniture arrived, the bed mattress had been "water damaged" from there transport or housing facilities. There standard of care is non existent and had just organised a generic letter describing how "accidental damage" may occur. 
I would seek a quote elsewhere unless you want your goods delivered unexpected.
Delivery guys were nice and efficient.

Huge shift - Perth to Brisbane after 19 years in WA. I researched a number of transporters, focusing particularly on the customer reviews. In the end it boiled down to two. The decider was that AP came and did an estimate at the beginning but again 3 business days before departure by which time 90% was packed. I can not fault any one of their employees at both pick up and drop off and every step along the way. No damages. No lost items. Friendly service. Professional. Transport time exactly in the time frame predicted. Would use again next time - tho hoping there is not a next time as shifting house is my biggest hate!!
