Pretty damn good Asian Fusion cuisine. Amazing flavors. Service is very friendly and extremely attentive.  I was amazed with the portion sizes, especially coming from Auckland where they usually serve half the food for the same price.  Probably recommend making a reservation as they’re usually busy.

Wow Wow Wow! What an amazing dining experience from Buddha Stix. Thank you to the team at Buddha Stix  Staff were helpful and friendly, the restaurant decor is stunning, great service... and the food was to die for, it tastes absolutely phenomenal! My friends and I absolutely enjoyed our meals and recommend everyone to try it! I know I will be back for more soon!!!

This was a bad over priced restaurant.  It’s not worth going to and there are much better restaurants in Dunedin.  Their food was awful, some dishes were over salty, hardly any meat and all vegetable.  And one meal was meant to be a sizzling hot plate and the plate wasn’t sizzling and barely warm.  We asked for no rice on any dish this is a way they charge you more for less food as we wanted to order a fried rice for the table, when paying they charged us extra for not having rice!  They didn’t care about the feedback when given and said you should have told us sooner, which we did complain to one waitress and she ignored our request and acted like she couldn’t speak English.  The meals didn’t arrive together and the last meal arrived 10 mins after the first, it was so bad. So food was cold.  Even one waitress split her entire drink tray onto the customer next to us and the poor lady had beer spilt all over her personal items and clothes. Ruining her night.  What’s even worse is they sent an automated email about an hour after the meal asking for feedback then before I could give feedback they sent another email saying our original booking was cancelled. How dishonest is that!  They new they provided a bad experience and wanted to avoid honest bad feedback!  Never going again!

Delicious meal on a busy Monday night during school holidays. All dishes we tried were fresh and flavoursome. Prompt and friendly service.

Excellent food and service amazing. Dined as a family of 5 and kids enjoyed it as well. Highly recommend. All the food we chose was divine thank you!

This place is so busy.  Finding a waitress to get our table drinks was often difficult as no one comes to the table to check the drinks situation.  We did a banquet.  The amount of food that we had to share with 7-9 people was minimal. We also had to ask for serving spoons as the food was put on our table with nothing to serve it up with except the cutlery we ate with which isn't hygienic when sharing a banquet. Too be fair the food was nice but the fact that staff were stretched and often too busy to pay attention to small details took away some of our enjoyment of dining out. Not sure that I would be back any time soon.

Had Thai chicken salad. Chicken was supposed to be wok fried but looked & tasted just boiled, was extremely dry. This was take out but looked as tho it was just thrown in the container. My husband had crispy pork but this too was dry and definitely not great. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Difficult to return when you've travelled to pick up and then have to return

Environment is alright food is not great. We ordered slow cook pork,crispy pork belly salad and green curry. The green curry is very watery and the bamboo can food flavor is very strong definitely a no. Rice and roti are ok tho lol

Hi I have been getting takeout and eat in from budda Stix dunedin for couple of years now. The food I just ordered was horrific for 2 reasons. I ordered the tempura chicken cashew..Firstly the chicken was so dry and over cooked it hurt our teeth trying to even eat it. There was little to no sauce on meal so basically dry chicken with dry rice. The other big gripe is that the takeaway container was virtually empty it covered the bottom and that is about it. Entre size def not a main meal size. Very dissatisfied
