Nice nature reserve, usually pleasant and quiet. Bird hide is well-placed but not many other facilities. Walking track down to the beach is popular in the mornings and afternoons too. No distinct track around the entire waterhole though.

Easy access. Small fish and hermit crabs in shallows at low tide. Good bird life, mostly waders, and the masses of Soldier crabs at low time are always fun to watch.

Great place for the family to enjoy the water and sun and even has an off-leash beach for your furbaby. Plenty of parking available. No toilet facilities.

Small waterhole/ attracting some birdlife in dunes at Red beach end of Bribie passage..southern end. Probably a habitat for native frogs etc but not a great deal of animal life easily visible.
