I've been seeing Dr. Roland Lee for over 20 years, and he's always been excellent. He's knowledgeable and handles my complex multiple chronic illnesses very well. We always have a laugh, too. I feel valued and well cared for. I've also seen Dr. Dawson a few times and she was also wonderful. As for the staff, from experience I've seen that the clinic is always very busy, the staff are always flat out and dealing with problems being thrown at them constantly. I've never had any issues with them, they're the definition of grace under pressure.
My family and l have been seeing Dr Roland Lee for over 20 years. Excellent Doctor who knows what he is talking about. Also all the staff are very compassionate and always give the time to listen. Special mentions to Nurse Diane and Receptionists Dora and Dimitria Just like an extended family. Also the other Doctors and staff at this clinic are excellent and very knowledgeable. Thank you for your care and services you provide.
The doctors here are excellent - if you are able to get past the cryptkeepers. The medical receptionist staff are so abominably rude that it's the preferable option to crawl into Sydney Road in rush hour traffic and let the combination of bad drivers, angry trams, and probability cure whatever ails you. The concept that patients might be sick, tired, and close to breaking point does not deter them. They will still assume you're trying to obtain medical aid under false pretenses and apply the thumb-screws accordingly. My tip? If you must be sick, probably be sick elsewhere. But if you can't avoid it, then for god's sake, make sure your personal details are up to date. Oh, and they'll make you pay before you see the doctor. I know. I don't get it either.
My doctors Dr Hayes and Dr Jun are amazing! Professional, efficient, friendly, understanding, get the job done. The receptionists however… wow. I have been going to this clinic for about seven years, and more often than not, the receptionists are quite rude. Awful. Please get new receptionists!
!DO NOT GO HERE! The receptionists, Dora and Dianne in particular, are really rude and will take any opportunity to yell at you. I have heard the receptionists talk horribly of other patients after they'd left. Many times did I see Dora yell at other patients because they simply didn't realise they had to do something or accidentally did the wrong thing. Mr Lee should have fired all of the staff years ago but I don't think he cares. I went to this clinic for years and I really regret it. I am disabled and the clinic was super disrespectful of my disabilities. I find it really sad that a medical clinic could be that disrespectful to it's patients.
Didn’t remember any of my details from a previous visit and wasted my time for a Telehealth appointment. You would think a receptionist would be able to pull up past records of appointments and wouldn’t let me do a Telehealth due to my broken foot. Disappointed.
I have been going here for the past 2 years and I have repeatedly been patronised by the receptionists. Today in particular, Dianne pushed me over the edge to the point that I felt compelled to write this review. Upon arriving and telling her I had an appointment, she began raising her voice at me. Everyone in the waiting room looked horrified by her service. It is clear that she does not understand that she is working at a doctors office and needs to be sensitive with patients that come through, especially when there is a chance that she could be addressing a patient trying to get help for mental health conditions. Her service has been the worst out of all of my experiences with the receptionists. If it wasn’t for Dr Jun, I would not still be going to this place. Dr Jun has consistently provided amazing, quality care and I always recommend her to my friends and family. It is a shame that I have to endure passive aggressiveness and belittling by the receptionists before I am able to receive care for my medical conditions.
Dr Dawson is the best doctor you will ever see. Understanding, compassionate, can even have a laugh with her when telling her my struggles. She sometimes runs late, but she is 100% worth it. She has been treating me for around 8 months and she has taken better care of me than most GP's you will see. She genuinely cares, and that's what matters.
As a patient of Dr Dawson for the past few years, I certainly agree with the concensus here that she is a very professional and caring GP. Dr Dawson always has time for her patients and does not try to rush or leave you feeling like another number. The care she has afforded me has been exceptional and I couldn't ask for more in a doctor. I now have a regular GP in Dr Dawson which is something I had never had before. Highly recommended.
I had my first consultation with Dr. Dawson today and was absolutely blown away by her depth of empathy, knowledge and pragmatism. She is evidently adeptly au fait with the intricacies and sometime nebulousness of mental health issues, and made me feel so at ease throughout the appointment despite, or perhaps because of, the fact that I was there for anxiety issues that I momentarily found myself going to offer her a hug upon its conclusion! I have truly never come across someone like Dr. Dawson in my multifarious health journeys and could not do lingual justice to how highly I recommend her services!
