I brought a mini wholemeal loaf of bread around lunchtime and it was so fresh and delicious
EXTREMELY disappointed with my purchase today. The apple custard pull apart was discusting. Raw runny dough in the middle of it. I was in Cloncurry when I opened it. AND it had been in the fridge til we got there.
How often do you go to the market just to buy bread and milk and end up with a trolley full. This locally owned bakery bakes fresh bread everyday and offers milk, so skip the checkout line and leave with what you came for. If you're looking for a quick grab and go snack, then the bakery is the perfect place. They offer a range of hot products, cold sweets, fresh sandwiches, and a variety of savoury and sweets such as scrolls, tear'n'shares, croissants and more. They have a bread wall with all sorts ranging from white, wholemeal, multigrain, sourdough and specialities. You can make an order prior. And they also have take-away coffee available.
Don't recommend. Have been there several times. Pies are average or below. Today I ordered a King Island pepper pie and it ended up being some form of chicken pie.

Excellent beef and burgundy pie and a very hot cappuccino. Way better than the coffee club.
Very few pies available at lunchtime and the quality is not there, dry and crusty pastry.
