Just love it in the old Regent Theatre Building! What a Brisbane icon! Sincerely hope this remains the permanent place for the information centre as it is the eye of Brisbane!! The architecture and the decoration throughout the building is just stunning for Australia with a relatively young history of <300 years European arrivals!

We went here to the visitor center for a walking tour around Brisbane! While we waited here for the tour to start, we were shown and told some interesting things! Then the tour started and Martin, our tour guide, showed us around! I highly recommend the tour and will gladly come again!
Fairly disappointing to have no ability to make contact on a weekend where you advertise Briabane is the place to be - but you can’t be bothered staffing it til 10am. Who visits and brings thier day as late as this? Also needed to contact you as can’t find disability parking at Southbank because it’s closed for Reno and can book .. but the number thier can’t take messages Looks like we get to stay home since 10am is too late to be in any way waiting to find suitable accessible parking . How very Ableist you are.
Brought here by a Brisbane Greeters volunteer guide who shared that this opulently decorated place used to be a movie theatre where he goes for movies! Amazing!
Very busy place. Plenty of staff members. You can book all sorts of trips with these people. Very helpful. Because they a volunteers you do get transferred to the one who best knows the place you are going. Hidden in the back of building is that fantastic sculptured staircase which you really have to go and see. In fact the whole room.
If you are lucky as we were you'll have Sue on your free walking tour she's Terrific!
