We use the most effective and up to date laser machines, the Q-Switched Ruby & Q-switched ND:Yag Lasers, which are able to successfully remove all colours of tattoo inks.

HOW
Tattoos consist of ink particles that have been ingested by cells in the skin. The laser beam is absorbed by the skin which causes the ink particles to shatter and disperse into smaller fragments which the body's natural defenses are then able to remove.

Laser is a lot quicker at removing the tattoo than the tattoo machine is at placing it in the skin. Generally 1 hour of tattooing takes approximately 5-10 minutes to laser.

FEELING
Laser on the skin causes a warm prickling sensation similar to a rubber band being flicked on the skin. The discomfort is minimal and usually well tolerated.
The pain level is similar to getting a tattoo however the sensation is completely different, if you handled the tattoo you can handle laser.

PAIN RELEIF
We use a kooling machine which significantly reduces the pain and assists with the healing process.

SCARRING
Scarring only occurs in less than 1% of cases as generally the laser does not break the skin. After care is provided for a reason, and must be followed to reduce the risks.
Sometimes there may already be scars present from the original tattoo or previous removal methods.

TREATMENTS
Clients usually require an average of 3-8 treatments for complete removal or half of that to simply lighten the tattoo for modifications.
