I came to my first appointment at The Bridal Emporium feeling very nervous worrying there wouldn't be many dresses to choose from in my size. I was definitely wrong! There was loads for me to try on, I chose over 10 dresses with the final one I tried on being recommended by the lady who assisted the appointment. I felt so comfortable and not self conscious at all then and for every appointment that followed. I found my perfect dress and I can't recommend them enough. Thank you!
Horrendous customer service, would not exchange a wedding dress that we hadn’t even picked up or had altered still on the hanger . It’s because my daughter is now pregnant so needed a big dress, happy to pay more to upgrade, but was only offered £200 in exchange for something I haven’t even collected and paid £1000 for. because they had one more dress in stock like it. Was told to sell it on eBay surely they would be able to sell it from a bridal shop easier than I can sell a £1000 dress on eBay. great customer service Exeter bridal Emporium, NOT. sad thing is Staff in the shop I think agreed with us but Manager kept referring to the terms and conditions. Surely it’s more than terms conditions as it’s someone special day. I am totally blown away with her attitude. #exeter #bride #customerservice The Bridal Emporium #thebridalemporium I’m just blown away out of all the shops in Exeter. It should have some heart and soul. It should be a shop that sells wedding dresses and it’s the start of building amazing memories. I understand people cancel weddings. but this is simply just an upgrade. We would’ve paid another £500+ on another dress if they’re just been a bit more accommodating, but lost my business and now hundreds of other people. Very shortsighted. I’ve already had four people reach out saying that they were going to go there and buy wedding dresses. Not Now !! They are going to the shop on the Quay. Just think if they bought one of the cheapest dresses at £1000 that’s £4000 worth of business. that Manager decision has cost her business more than what she realises all she had to do was help. Where is HER management ahead? It’s definitely not in caring for customers. T&C will not pay the bills. All because of their harsh attitude I have a daughter in Complete and tears. This will make the speech at the wedding.
Thank you so much girls, you absolutely made my day on Monday! My daughter is getting married in June, and I knew exactly what sort of style dress I'd like to wear, in fact I'd been so worried about it, as I really couldn't find 'the one' anywhere. We were in Exeter visiting from Torquay just for a little wander, and walked past your lovely premises, and Chloe suggested we pop in, " You never know mum, you might find a dress you like" were her exact words....Well, you could have blown me down with a feather, we looked upstairs, and there it was, my dream dress! I tried it on, and Rachael was so very kind, helpful, attentive and professional, what a lovely lady she is! I've chosen a colour I've never really worn before, and absolutely love it, thank you so much Rachael for your amazing customer service, I can't wait to pick the dress up now! So there we go, I popped in for a little look, and left feeling on top of the world, I am so happy and couldn't recommend The Bridal Emporium more highly, ten out of ten and a sparkly gold star!
Wonderful service! I came here with my daughter in search of a prom dress. After trying on a few that were lovely, but not quite right, Rachael the lady helping us picked out a lovely ball gown style dress which was perfect for her! Rachael made my daughter feel comfortable and welcome during the whole process and we ended up ordering the dress later that day!
Honestly today was a beautiful experience and Ashton was amazing! I cannot fault her at all - any questions,doubts,niggles I had she was right there to answer. She really made me feel so comfortable and confident. I previously went to ‘La boutique’ and honestly the difference between your store and there was totally different. In Ashtons hands from the moment I got out with her it felt right,she listened to myself and my bridal party, she honestly made my experience so perfect I could t fault it at all! I’d really like her to be a part of my fittings ect as she was just lovely!
Jenny and the team were absolutely amazing - from the very first consultation through to dry cleaning my dress after the big day itself. They were so kind and took the time and care to understand exactly what I was hoping for from my dress. I felt in the safest hands and I absolutely loved my dress - every fitting was such a special, bespoke experience. When my dress needed adjustments they did such a brilliant job as well. The whole process was magical and I wish I could experience it all again!
The one star is for the warm welcome we experienced when we first walked into the shop. Unfortunately that's where the customer service ended as we were passed to another lady. She was impatient , pushy and rude at best.
What can I say except AMAZING! It hasn't been the easiest wedding rides like soo many people but these guys have been fantastic. They couldn't of done enough for me and I can not recommend them enough! To finding my dress, changing my mind during lockdown, finding my new dress, ordering me in bridesmaid dresses, all the alterations and support I generally have had has been the best! Thank you soo much for the last few years! Going to miss not coming in!
i went in on monday and looked at dresses i picked one and asked for it to be held back and it did but i got told if someone brought it then it would be brought. i went back today after having 10/10 service from zoe. she was so sweet and understanding aswell as attentive she was always paying attention aswell as greeting everyone that came in i just wanted to say thank you so so so much im so happy to have been looked after by her the whole time i was there, would recommend
I had a bridal appointment here last weekend. Unfortunately it wasn't a good experience. Minutes after starting to look through the dresses I was told ‘you really need to start trying on now, you've got five dresses.’ I had only actually chosen one dress myself, my bridal party had chosen two, and the other two were picked out by the lady who worked there. So I never actually got a chance to look through the dresses. We found the lady helping to be very blunt and judgemental, with a few comments verging on being rude. I felt very rushed trying on dresses. The worst part was that the lady felt it acceptable to comment that I was ‘quite short in the body’. This was a passing comment that she made whilst putting a dress on me, it wasn't even said to discuss what style of dress would suit me however I still don't think that would have been acceptable. This has left me feeling incredibly self conscious and with a new insecurity. Towards the end of the appointment, whilst I was showing my bridal party a dress I had on, the lady rudely commented to us about there being somebody waiting downstairs for her next appointment. Whilst I did not have a good experience here, there was another bridal party in at the same time. From what we overheard, the lady working with them seemed much more pleasant. This was the complete opposite to the other bridal shop I visited, where my experience was made to be a lovely memory. As a result, I decided not to purchase my wedding dress from The Bridal Emporium. Furthermore, upon entering the shop my bridal party and I saw a few dresses we liked for bridesmaids, however due to the negative experience we won't be returning to look at them.
