Whenever I've gone there alone I've never had any trouble. The staff that helped me although socially awkward, was helpful and told me everything is needed to know. The time for books to come from other libraries is acceptable. I do believe there is a lack of newer books that involve parenting, mental health and research based books. Not a fan of digital books even though I'm still relatively young. Took my young daughters there today. We were there for half an hour. Unfortunately, no staff seemed to acknowledge us. Maybe because I'm a father I don't know. It just felt like we were ignored. They had some things there for the kids, but it is quite lacking compared to other libraries. Overall.a good library, but there could be some minor improvements.
The Bribie Island library is always one of my favourite places to go. Is has a wealth of resources things you can do come full places you can sit to say the least. The staff are always courteous happy knowledgeable friendly and ready to help. The online resources are also easy to access.
The lass who helped us photocopy copious amounts of paper was so very helpful and friendly. Love the library.

Great staff. Love the new way of checking in with mobile & QR code. Great workers there. Returns go into quarantine always makes me laugh thinking all those books sitting there counting off the days.
The lady on the counter was so helpful and kind.. id forgotten my glasses and she helped me navigate the system with a smile and patience of a saint.
the Moreton Bay Library Service - Bribie Island is amazing. I love it all. Plenty of books, great variety and easily available. Love the Author talks and the creative writing tutorials given by the library sites. Thank you so much for making my life so much more interesting and helpful.
Excellent ... lovely library and easy access to all books dvd etc.
Comfortable library with lots of current books & newspapers in a nice setting. Interesting lounge areas where conversations are seemingly encouraged - even if distracting to other readers. Sadly no WiFi - are we still in the 1990s?
