Date/time of visit: 19 May 2022 @ 11:00 I found this cafe for my partner so she could have a lovely breakfast. And she loved the savoury crepes. For me, I prefer simple breakfasts and can't handle rich foods that early in the morning. The crepes were great but, for me, rich flavouring. The quality was excellent and the crepes were made with care. For my partner, these crepes were exactly what she wanted and loved them. The staff were friendly and there appears to be a number of customers they know by name always a good sign of a quality cafe.
At the Ainslie shop in a corner next to the Chemist is a France restaurant, specialising in France food from Brittany. Open the door over 9 years ago 2014, and last year the new owners come to the restaurant 2022 and remain as France restaurant. I recommend this quaint and cosy France restaurant , France people love to cook in butter , Breizh Cafe get the butter comes from Brittany. The wonderful Staff was so helpful, showing me the table , and the service is excellent, Breizh Cafe has a wonderful atmosphere . I had France Breakfast, an Toasted Brioche , a warm Croissant and a fresh Baguette slice with Beurre Breton butter from Brittany, strawberry jam, Nutella or Organic honey and a cappuccino. Wow , I had the best Breakfast just now it melted in your mouth , that is Mushroom Crepes, with Gruyere, Mushroom and Potatoes sauteed in parsley with Garlic Butter and Baby Spinach. The last time I had Potatoes for my breakfast when I was younger, my Mum asked what will you like for breakfast, and I said POTATOES ! Come have the Mushroom Crepes, I believe you will love that meal . We had breakfast, Smoked Salmon, with Gruyere, tomato, hard Boiled Egg , capers Sour Cream and a Wedge of Lemon. Prawns, with Gruyere in a Cream Leek, compile and fresh Asparagus , topped with chilli flakes. Strawberry with Nutella and icecream , or Jam, Leatherwood Honey , or Maple Syrup. Our take a coffee or tea with some cakes and cupcakes , for Takeaway.
It was first time to visit here today. Their homemade croissant and galettes were amazing! In addition, customer service from the owner made our day. Will definitely come back!
This is one of my favourite cafes in Canberra. Their crepes are authentic, with delicious fillings. The croissants are my favourite thing to get, the cheese they use makes them even better. Their service is friendly and helpful. Fantastic cafe, you will not be disappointed
Sigh. This used to be our go-to cafe in Ainslie…and I loved the Bretagne vibe but these days that is gone. I think perhaps the original chef has also gone as the food is not the same…for example today I ordered the apple tart and it was FROZEN! Yep. Even though Breitz used to have fresh patisserie items now they freeze the pastry if it isn’t all eaten on the day it comes in. Might as well have popped next door and bought a frozen apple pie from IGA. The tea was made from a teabag which was also a sad development, the Brittany products have also gone so grotty looking shelves with rubbish on them is all that is left of the beautiful display…but the coffee was ok. We’ll go elsewhere.
Amazing food. The croissant brioche and crepes are to die for!!! Very friendly and helpful staff. Anisha hope I spelt it right! was very patient with all my questions and provided excellent service.
Food was delicious and served reasonably quickly. But the barista service was so slow that we had to go and check they still had our order. After finishing our food and drink, we decided to order another coffee, that was a mistake. It was not a busy day. Very disappointing.Food: 4/5
Whenever I'm craving for the crepe, this is the place to go. Easy and quick food. I feel like taste has been changed and less people at the restaurant.
Really enjoyed breakfast. Great food and coffee the French breakfast was delicious, the perfect light start to the day. Service was excellent. Would highly recommend.
First time visiting this cafe with my friends. And it was great. The food is amazing, and the owner is nice, too! I surely will come back to bring my other friends :
