Lots of variety of Asian-styled buns, cakes and pastries. I especially love their taro cakes, almond buns and Japanese milk bread. They also do really cute and creative theme cakes and festive pastries eg for Christmas and Lunar New Year, which are hard to find in the CBD. Staff are usually cold and uninterested but never rude to me, I go here weekly. They charge surcharge when paying by card, so bring cash and own bags.
The food quality is bad, it's disgusting to see they selling breads that have bugs all over. People might think I'm ridiculous so I'm attactching a photo for people who doesn't believe me. Idk if it's only myer centre one or the breadtop itself, it's ridiculous to buy a disgusting bread in full price. I encountered it several times
Terrible service. 27/04/2023. afternoon around 15:00. The girl at the front desk asked me if I wanted a candle. I didn't hear clearly. She just threw the candle on the table. Wtf If I can will give 0 star… Please learn how to be friendly to guests. customer service, none at all.
Such a relaxing environment, filled with all sorts of baked goods it’s difficult not to find something you’d like! I could feel all my anxieties lift away as I strolled along and picked out the tastiest looking bread in the cozy lighting with peaceful music playing. I even went twice in the same day! Then came back again the next. Just so tasty and also friendly staff.
I really liked their glazed doughnuts but never understood why they got such bad reviews on google. After going there sometimes, now I realize. They are one of the coldest servers I have ever seen in my life. They never say "Hello", never answer back when I say " Hello." Gets rude for no reason and does not communicate clearly. After payment, they just stand there. Never say if it is cleared or not or if I need anything. Nothing.
NOT HAPPY. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Seems like the other reviews is same. BAD customer service. To the front cashier today 20th May 2023 12:30pm, fix your attitude don’t bring your issues towards customers. Brought breads worth 65$ and everything was dump in plastic bags without care. Went home the tart was mush. Not coming back again. I’ve been to Singapore and perth branches and I never been treated so badly. I understand it gets busy as the day goes along but putting your stress and treating your costumer badly doesn’t make it even better. Hope you get some self reflection.
I paid for a bag today that I didn't get approx. 6:18pm By the time I realized, my bus had arrived and I had to get on it. I asked for a receipt and got given a register receipt but not EFTPOS receipt. I do enjoy some of their items but I feel everything is so expensive here, and there are surcharges to everything. Check your receipts to ensure you're paying for the correct items and also that you're being charged the correct amounts
Terrible customer service. The first time I came here, I put it down to the person having a bad day everyone has them. But after going a few more times, I’ve come to realise, this is just how they are. I can appreciate there may be a language barrier, but a smile can’t hurt.
Always fresh and tasty buns. My favourites are pineapple bun, with shrimp & spring onion. Don’t recommend buying a “puppy” cake. Taste was horrible.
Great bread and cool self serve set up.
