Still one of the best place to get some bread and buns. My favourite is still the pork floss bun. I visited yesterday to grab a sausage bun as a special request from my daughter. They also have a variety of cakes for special occasion. If you preorder the cake you can get the custom message, otherwise they can add it on at an additional cost.
Wonderful place although they tend to work in a hurry, so much so that they don’t even offer you a receipt. When I did ask for one as I needed to claim as a business expense, the cashier gave me a bothered look, quickly printed off the receipt without a word and walked away. Not impressed about the politeness of this particular individual, you made me feel like I was there taking up your time, hopefully this review will enlighten you, please treat people with respect.
Extremely bad experienced with one of the lady staff, she gave us the feeling of she is the king in the world. Rude, extremely bad manner, no courtesy at all. She looks like in charge of the shop, but I don’t think she is the owner, but must be related to the owner, so made her so arrogant! Absolutely disappointed!
Bread Top. I went there looking for a plain croissant, and they didn't sell single croissants. I could have brought a 6 pack but I wasn't that greedy lol. So I brought an egg tart for the first time and it was suprisingly really good. The biscuit base was really light, and the egg, really tasty. This was such a treat.
Various fresh buns, pastries and cakes choices. Love the $2 snow mochi moon cake promotion. Will visit again and again because the buns are quite yum.
Excellent cakes. Same as the ones I buy when I went to Hong Kong. Especially the egg tarts.
this place is so bad, i used to visit the pink taiwanese bakery just a few steps from here but it closed down so i tried breadtop again after many year of boycotting it and its still just as bad. staff were nice though :
Fantastic little bakery and has a very different variety of breads and food. Some of the overseas styles of breads can be found here if this is something you enjoy if you have a love of sweet breads and baked foods.
Wow the service: I don’t care for politeness but it doesn’t feel very good when you get scolded by the cashier for trying to help yourself to a plastic bag which she said “I asked you earlier but you said no, they cost 5c” without even asking me whether I’d like to pay for the bag and just left me there. Miss: I’d just spent $15 at the shop, I am not trying to steal 5c. You may be tired but please learn to show some basic respect to other humans, especially customers who ultimately pay your wage. Bread Top: provide better training to your staff please.
Very tasty bread options, cheap prices too.
