Brasserie Bread

I want to preface this by saying I really hate giving low stars as I know it makes a big difference to a business. So, to be clear, I absolutely adore Brasserie Bread and often visit the Botany Road outlet. The food and coffee is faultless at Botany Road but “all airport food is bad” is not a good enough excuse at the airport outlet when I paid $44 for a vegetable frittata that was tasteless and had a rubbery egg in the middle. My son had the bacon and egg burger which was also rubbery. Our coffees were not any better. Maybe it was just bad ordering or bad luck but I went to this outlet specifically because airport food is generally pretty ordinary and often overpriced. So imagine how disappointing it was to see that the food was below expectations of this fine establishment. My suggestion is to focus on offering items that Brasserie Bread is famous for including croissants pastries and toast.

Awesome cafe! Way exceeded expectations of an airport cafe. Croissant was perfect - fresh, buttery and slightly flaky. Coffees were also super smooth and tasty. Great customer service too. Easy 5 stars!

This is a horrible attempt at a Jaffle, poor choice of bread and barely any filling. On top of that; this isn't even the one I ordered. I would have gone back to get the one I wanted, however, I wouldn't want to miss my flight. My coffee is also tasteless like they are trying to save on product.

The crispy chicken schnitzel roll was okay. Could have been better if the roll was not too hard.

Time to kill waiting for your plane? Then drop on into 'Brasserie Bread' at the domestic airport. Coffee is awesome like, seriously good and Minky at the counter was a joy to deal with. Will definitely come back next time I'm catching a plane.

Mediocre coffee. Came here as was one of the few places I didn't have to use a disposable cup. Still got plastic spoon... Coffee was weak. Next time I'll remember my keep cup and try somewhere else. $4.5 for small flat white.

Tasty sandwich with prosciutto, fiordilatte, tomatoes and spinach. Long wait to heat it up.

The coffee wasn't too bad, especially for airport standards. I also had the croissant which was a little dry but it did the job. Having a space to sit and relax before the flight, away from the main crowd was lovely.

Terrible customer service. Slow, rude and uncommunicative. The cafe across from them is much much better. Don’t waste your time here.

Sorry to do this because while the coffee was good and food at last average+, you served us coffee with plastic spoons to stir. We chose your cafe as the only one at the gates that serves coffee in mugs and not single use cups. To our disapoointment you brought us plastic. In the view of current climate and bushfire disasters, we your customers ask that you adapt to responsible business practices all the way not just half way. Im happy to revise to 4 stars once you have changed your policies. Thanks!
