Whilst on my way to the gym, I decided to check the pressure on my cars tyres and increase it if need be. I got to this petrol station, went to the ‘air machine’ and did what I was meant to do. I saw that the pressure was a bit low in one tyre, so I increased it. Instead of increasing the pressure in the tyre, it sucked all of it out. I advised the attendant of this, and he replied with ‘yeah, that happens sometimes’. Which is rather concerning, considering the fact that the people working at the petrol station clearly knew that the air machine had some kind of error and nothing has been done. Which is rather obvious by that statement. I am now stranded, and have had to pay a couple of hundred dollars for RACV to come out to me to re-inflate my tyre, because this petrol station didn’t feel their machines. Perhaps they’ll feel the need to give me a refund and check their machines, because perhaps a few of their other machines at the petrol station are out of order and don’t work half the time, judging by what happened tonight. I am not happy, and am considerably angry. I will be contacting the manager on Monday, and taking it further as this is poor service.
