We just stopped here on our way from Auckland to Opotiki. The staff were so lovely and we couldn’t believe how clean the toilets were. Thank you - we will make this our stop if ever in Whakatane again.
The lovely staff there made our day so much better. They let us heat up our food and recommended a beautiful place to have our lunch. If you need to fuel up, go here!
What does it take to be friendly? Even just a hello. The old over sized woman and her coffee assistant have no clue. Yes, it is obvious I am not a local but this sort of non welcome and maybe they would be better suited to do tours of the volcano!

BP here does not have 95 octane petrol, it costs more to have 98 octane and no noticeable advantage.nWe don’t go here because of this additional cost for 98
