A large BP service station with an auto repair garage. Includes car wash, bathrooms, tyre pumping and more. We rocked up with a flat tyre and there were no places in the entire upper South Island with the sort of tyre we needed. They ordered one in from Hamilton and it arrived and was fitted they day we got there and they didn't even charge for labour.

Possibly the rudest staff member we have encountered. Walked in to buy a coffee, people just standing around waiting, staff member was at the coffee counter. Went up to order a coffee only to be told that he was too busy to serve us cos he had all these people in there, would'nt even take our order (we would have been happy to wait for the coffee). Got coffee from the great people in the caravan coffee place up the road and filled up our car at the caltex, much better.
