Fantastic service at reception and everywhere else. Narelle was very considerate of our budget and gave helpful recommendations. We also found a letter from my grandmother that passed where she requested a song for her funeral. We emailed Bowra & O’Dea and the next day they played the song at the funeral. Thank you to Neil and the wonderful staff at Bowra & O’Dea Hilton. We couldn’t have asked for a better service for our beloved Ajda. The service was impeccable, we felt cared for and looked after throughout the process. All our requests were fulfilled and nothing was too much trouble. Bowra & O'Dea Hilton have recently helped arrange the service for both my brother and my mother. All the staff are very professional, sympathetic  and caring, and I highly recommend them to anyone.  Thank you.

We found Bowra & O’Dea to be professional and sympathetic at what was a very difficult time for our family. Our options were clearly explained and Bowra & O’Dea were happy to go the extra mile to accommodate all of our individual and very specific requirements. The facilities are excellent and the staff we had assisting us were all very emotionally intelligent and conscientious. From our initial contact everyone acted appropriately and treated all the family and our attendees with the utmost respect. We were very impressed with the service provided and the final send off for Dad.

Unfortunately this company has staff that have little attention to detail. You pay for a service and believe that they will check details correctly and simply do the job they are paid for. The reality is you will find yourself checking details and finding that they are not correct, you will be having to contact them again and again to get confirmation of information. Then on our service day the coffin was open, yet the paperwork clearly states, COFFIN CLOSED. Luckily I was there before the children arrived and had it closed. It seems that there is no communication between the owner or manager and the staff. No one seems to know what the word sorry is apart from Shane who apologised for the failures of his co workers even though he was not at fault and had the ability to show empathy. The celebrant was awesome, well done Joanne. Would I recommend this service. No I most definitely would not. I would have given no stars but Shane and Joanne deserve to be recognised.
