I had never thought about having my 9 year old, 50 Kg Rottweiler, who I call Hook, groomed. He is an inside dog and the same young lady has washed him fortnightly since he decided to adopt my family as an 8 week old puppy with nowhere better to go.
I was in the local Physio and I read a local Narangba publication when I came across a write up about Bow Wow Meow. I learnt that one of the owners was a Cesar Milan follower which impressed me immensely because Cesar gave me so many positives in the way I trained Hook over the years and I even went to see Cesar at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
To say Hook loved the grooming experience is an understatement. He looked 10 Kg lighter because his coat had all the old hair removed and he was smiling when he was brought out to me, complete with a black and white bandanna around his neck. He looked big, bad, black and beautiful.
The grooming was probably not what I would call cheap, because there is a lot of dog to groom, and I have not had too many offers from anyone volunteering to groom him in the first place. I did really  appreciate being informed that the first visit for such a big dog generally always takes longer but that future grooming sessions would be 25% less in cost which is a substantial saving for a beaut job. He took to the lovely girls who operate Bow Wow Meow immediately because of their obvious knowledge of how to handle a big boy like him, which meant I was relaxed, which meant he was relaxed.
The excellent result was worth every cent and Hook will no doubt be at me to take him back for another grooming experience with the Bow Wow girls in the near future.
One recommendation to anyone reading this is try and book in on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday so that you can grab a great coffee next door while you wait because Pappi's was closed on Saturday afternoon. 
If they can do such a great job with Hook imagine the results with a normal sized family member.

My two girls love going to Bow Wow Meow for there baths each fortnight, the ladies are loving and gentle, they look after our temperamental Pug so well.
