Disappointed and shocked,  do you only have 1 person working in your kitchen? My husband and i decided to have drinks at the hotel to celebrate my sons Christening with our family. I booked well in advanced  ( a month prior) and advised we would be having approx 30 people and 28 of us would be staying on for dinner, we would require 5 high chairs.   Whilst we enjoyed drinks when it came to dinner time was a different story.  We all ordered one after another at 5.45, yet all the meals came out  2 at a time. By the time i got my meal it was after 7pm, most of my guests had finished and were ready to go home. The kids who were sitting in high chairs were last to be served, 5 screaming children waiting over an hour for food is a joke. When i questioned why it was taken so long i was given a less than satisfactory response, they were busy. a month in advance is sufficient time to ensure you have sufficient staff, we did not walk in from the street.  When the kids dinners came out the server, who was also serving drinks and seating people, was so rude ( i don't blame him you were clearly understaffed). Had it not been my sons christening dinner and the fact that we had already paid id have walked out never to return.

Absolutely disgraceful service. My sister in law booked tables in the bistro for after my nephew’s christening. Meals were brought out haphazardly and when any of us dared to question the wait staff, they threw them down on the table and told us that they were busy tonight. At 6.00pm. At the start of service. For real? One couple at our table waited an hour and half for their meals. The kids meals were the last to be brought out. Screaming kids does not endear us to ever step foot in this place again.
$30 for a pork belly and there were three tiny bits on the plate. Don’t bother and go somewhere else, I would recommend the United service station for a sandwich over this place.

Nice TAB area and viewing of the tv's

The food was awful. Steak, chips and salad. 
Steak wasn't cooked correctly, pepper gravy wasn't edible, chips were soggy and the salad was the worst salad I've ever eaten in my life.
Not a great range of beers on tap. 
Not once, was our table cleared of empty glasses by the bar staff and it took 30 minutes for out plates to be cleared. Very slow and poor service.

Good food. They also have good playground for kids. Oh and $5 kid's menus food.

Pub grub with fantastic service and nice atmosphere.

star food (had the seafood basket, all tasted like it was from frozen product, no fresh seafood) 
star cleanliness (rubbish in kids playroom and crumbs and oil on dining chairs - we were the first customers of the day) 
star service (would have been 5 star if they did full table service)
star venue (large dining room that still felt nice and cosy, some variety of games for kids of different ages)
