An absolute top tier sandwich Bottega in the heart of Prospect - I don't care who you are, you'll love it herennI've been craving a good breakfast place that serves great sandwiches and I can confidently say I've finally found one. Occupying the corner of Prospect, Bottega Bandito serves some of the best brunch food I've ever had.nThe bread alone puts this place in A tier. Combine it with delicious ingredients, a great balance of flavours and texture, and a modern environment and you have an absolute great time outnnLeaving here without a takeaway pastry is also a crimennI know I'm selling this place hard, but I was thoroughly impressed and will 100% be back to try everything.
Lovely cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. The food is delicious specifically the steak with fries. The hash brown was bland and unique. Pricing is reasonable for the serving size. The waiters are friendly and try to get the orders out as soon as possible.
EDITED 02/05 TO ADD: Since the reply to the review I have since gone back and there was no change in bread. This is now one star.nnUnfortunately paid $22 for this very small gluten free sandwich. I understand these products are of good quality but I can no longer justify spending this amount for a tiny sandwich. There are plenty of excellent gluten free sandwich bars that offer well priced rolls. Those who cannot eat gluten already have to pay extra for this option - the end product should reflect this with a better sized product. Very disappointed.
Came here for a quick bite since we've heard lots about this place from friends. We ordered two sandos- prosciutto and tuna. Food was decent but the sourdough was a bit tough. Also ordered the tonic coffee for $7.5 but it was very flat and lacking. Would be better if given the option to toast the sourdough. Overall the staff were friendly and the service was quick.
Fantastic flat white with chocolatey taste.. Simply excellent almond and chocolate croissants
