I've only been here for weekend lunches, so I can't comment on it as a night time venue. The food is decent Pub food but nothing to rave about. There's a reasonable selection of tap beers but the service is maybe a little laid back.
One of the best Sunday roasts I've had at a pub. Very pleasantly surprised. And the whole place is dog friendly. Perfect. We went for a walk in Sydney Park then lunch at the Botany View.
Great pub with a unique menu and an awesome range of beers on tap. The Board with 4 choices is INCREDIBLY generous and impressive compared to what you would expect of a $30 cheeseboard at any other bar or pub. They have a handful of quirky rooms and spaces upstairs, so worth booking ahead if you plan on showing up with a group.

Lovely food! Lamb was a bit over cooked but really cannot expect too much from pub food can you? Good atmosphere and the band helped a lot to that. Especially since it was a week day..
Very disappointed, I liked the vibe when I heard the music but the service was bad, the men’s toilet wow, I haven’t been able to use it. I got some fries just to try something basic and they were cooked with old oil, soggy and salty. Sorry guys but I don’t feel like coming back.

Upstairs outside is one of my favourite little chill spots in the inner west. My go to for a quiet beer in the sun: Mix that with a super old school pub vibe downstairs and you've got the best pub on King!
