my partner is contract driver for boral....on a major road project in brisbane.....he works for a transport company contracted to boral......everynight he works....he is sent back the various boral plants across brisbane on standby or is left to sit at work sites as clean up.....yet they sign off every other truck working the same job.....some nights he sits at work sites while up to ten other trucks tip off then he has to do cleanup,and then is sent back to a plant on standby to sit to the early hours of the morning.......even after the crew he was working have gone home.....i can appreciate that they have families to get home to well so does my partner......i think its wrong and he is currently looking for another job......i wouldnt advise anyone to take on work for boral....they pay minimum of 5 hours to start but if my partner goes back on standby the money stops....he has done up to 6 hours over the 5 hour min....and doesnt get payed to do that......i hope something new comes in for him......this is a rip off
