Great Thai place in Haymarket. The food is fresh and delicious. The mild spice level is still spicy but not burn your mouth + tears spicy that happens in other Thai restaurants I actually like spicy food. There’s an interesting grocery store in the same space. The desserts were really good though I wish the ice was more finely ground/shaved. There were many more interesting things on their menu I would like to try!
One of the best Thai cafe/restaurant that has a grocery store located inside as well. Food used to taste better with bigger portions but over the pandemic I think the quality has been reduced. Out of the three dishes that I recently had, the chicken satay was the best amongst them all. Others seemed to be too oily, lack of depth and flavours. Cards surcharges applied and beware of waiting time during peak hours as their place is quite famous but the seating is limited.
Food was very delicious. Big menu with A good variety if dishes, they don’t dumb down any spices for spicy dish. My favourite was the curry and the salad. There was even dessert! Will definitely come back.
Very cozy and clean atmosphere. Best Pad Thai! Omelette rice was a bit too simple only fried egg on plain rice but was unexpectedly good with the chili sauce Pandan croissant was good and unique as well! This will be one of our favorite Thai restaurants in town!Recommended dishesSukho Thai Noodle, Pandan Croissant
Boon Cafe have so much interesting menus for breakfast, lunch & dinner, as well as desserts & drinks too! I enjoyed all the foods that we had for breakfast, and I would come back here again to try the other menus! Please note though that the cafe is small, so it’s good for dining in small groups.
Food is tasty and authentic. The decoration for the dessert wasn’t there as shown in the menu. 12$ for coconut ice cream with chendol can look nicer. Agreed with other comments, some staffs are not so prompt in service. However, will go again for the tasty food.
If you are after a good alternative breakfast place, this is it. There are plenty of seating and the service is fast. The food is fusion of Thai and Australian café which may sound odd as a combination, but the food is uniquely tasty. The Boon Full breakfast is a great sampler of different options and flavours.. the tomato rice with pineapple, bacon and baked eggs is a good portion for the lighter eaters but it still packs a good flavour punch!
Love this beautiful little cafe/ restaurant, amazing authentic Thai food. I had papaya salad the most authentic version, I do not recommend this as the taste was so strong, I am sure the normal papaya salad would be much better. Chicken wings and pork satays were so tasty, they came with a spicy sauce on the side. The drinks were so refreshing! I was so disappointed with the service, I had to go to the counter to order, the waitress had the worst attitude, wasn’t helping when I asked about the different dishes.
My first time. Love the setting here. Food is good the noodle texture still good despite soak in soup for a while. The sauce dip for chicken wing was amazing. Only thing is staff not as attentive as I hope food.
A huge breakfast and lunch selections. The chicken, squid and holy basil sandwich tasted authentic. You can order mild if you cant handle spice. The pandan custard was yummy and the croissant was buttery like how a croissant suppose to be.
