This is where my lost 'baby girl' Lucy my 10 month old Border Collie was handed in by the awesome Waverley Ranger Pas, 7 days / nights after she went missing. I will always have a magical memory of our reunion here- with untold thanks going to Jemmah. Her enthusiasm for seeing the two of us reunited & her natural affinity with all living souls people & their beloved pets, enriched the whole experience. Thank you B Jnct. Vet Hospital!!
Fantastic staff. Caring, capable and personable. They also treat wildlife, which is a fantastic support for WIRES and Sydney Wildlife Rescue, Sydney's two volunteer wildlife rehab organisations.,
We’ve been coming to BJVH for years and the love and care my pets receive is second to none. My 2 Birman cats, Sylvia & Simon have been regular boarders and are welcomed like family members
If you have an italian greyhound, avoid this vet at all costs! Our baby came in with a minor tail wound, which were told required tail tip amputation. Surgery supposedly went well however when we took him back to take the bandages off, I was mortified. It looked like the amputation had been completed with a pair of kitchen scissors. At this point, we were very concerned but stuck with the vet as were trusted the process. Months went by with vet visits every few days for new bandages with no improvement and continual bleeding. Every time we visited, we were seeing a new vet and prescribed a different medication with one of the vets even admitting the previous vet we saw had prescribed our baby the wrong medication for a month, doing nothing for healing. Unsurprisingly, the tail became infected again with the vet suggesting to remove the rest of the tail despite him still having 75% of his tail. I should also mention that the vets at Bondi junction kept referring to our boy as a “she” and would often call him different names during appointments - seemed like we were just another number. After thousands of dollars and losing trust, we decided to go get a second opinion from another vet.. the best decision we could make. Our new vet could see how distressed we were and understood that we wanted to save our baby’s tail. They had a new method of bandaging the tail specific to the breed, prescribed our baby with the right antibiotics and were able to save most of his tail. I am giving this place 2 stars and not 1 only because some of the nurses here were lovely. However, I would not trust the “veterinarians”.
I am beyond happy with the caring and professional treatment my dog was given when she unfortunately broke her leg this Friday. Dr Ray and the rest of the Team were incredibly understanding, going above and beyond to help my dog and reassure me during a very stressful situation. I will not hesitate to recommend this clinic to anyone needing a top quality vet!
Really good vet. I love the staff, i love the location. The staff is always ready to help and answer all your questions. From many times i went there, I only had a problem once with one doctor that I didn’t like much.
GROSS MISMANAGEMENT - my world, my child, my everything is now not with me. Vegas was an 8.5 year old strong, fit french- bulldog whom had ongoing gut issues and chronic diarrhea over the years. I did my due diligence as a mother and took him to this vet beyond numerous times to see what was wrong and every time i was given tablets for settling his tummy. Not once did anyone do their due diligence and suggest a scan or xray to look a little further due to his history. On the last time i visited this vet finally suggested an xray and a 14cm mass was shockingly detected in his belly. 14CM MASS in a small dog!!! It turned out to be cancer which spread from his kidneys to his lungs and 10 days later he is dead. How can a vet miss a 14cm mass upon a physical examination??? It was MASSIVE and easily detected upon touch. I am beyond angry, beyond confused, beyond shocked that a vet can miss this to the point of no return. My world has been turned upside down and my heart ripped out of my chest. If he was managed properly looking at his history and this vet did their job and investigated his ongoing issue, this cancer could of been caught in time. I'm disgusted and I will ensure to tell every single person i know in the eastern suburbs how negligent you are. SHAME ON YOU.
Julia Crawford was rude, insulted us in front of other customers and her staff when we asked for the script to come back to fill it later. She refused and said: “Why do you need the script? So you can fill it online?” We fully had the intention to come back to buy the medication if we couldn’t find what we had left at home. Had been their loyal customer for 2 years since our dog was 8 weeks old. Never went back again! Much happier with the North Randwick Vet, everyone is so kind and professional.
Great experience for my doggo. One of the best vet visits we have had. Ray took great care and time to make sure Woody my furry friend was OK and gave him plenty of treats. Answered all questions I had no matter how silly as well. Will be back! Thanks guys!
Great vets. Everyone is extremely helpful and kind. Very flexible. DR Ray Chan is amazing.
