The apartment is well located to the shops and across the road from the beach which is great. The lady we dealt with was lovely and very professional and even posted a piece of clothing we forgot, which we are grateful for. However we were disappointed to arrive to an old building where Bon Sol is just one apartment in an otherwise older style 70’s residential block. The website made it sound more like a resort but all it is, is a very nicely furnished, clean apartment. We felt is was expensive for what it offered and thought it would be better listed on Airbnb rather than featured as it is currently.
Bon Sol is an absolutely amazing place to stay! The beachside location is fantastic, the decor of the apartment is stunning and comfortable and all the fittings are of the highest quality, from beautiful linens to fine china and All Clad pots and pans in the kitchen. But what really sets Bon Sol apart from anywhere else we have stayed in Australia is the customer service. Terry was attentive, respectful and friendly. When we had an issue she was there in minutes, the rest of the time we had the place to ourselves. When we arrived we were a little dubious about the old fashioned building, but when we opened the door were blown away..then we found the chilled bottle of champagne waiting. Terry had also picked up flowers for my mothers birthday and set them by her bed. Just a fantastic place for a weekend away!
Such a treat to be taken here. I think we died and went to heaven!!! Vintage champage on arrival, delicious treats, and the apartment was just incredible. Everything you need and want!!!! 5 stars does not do it justice. I give it 10 !!! Will be back for sure.Rooms: 5/5
