Seriously disappointing pies! We used to love Boscastle pies but since they have changed location, the quality has taken a serious nose dive. The last three pies we have bought have been terrible! The filling is very dry and lacking in flavour. We threw most of the last two out uneaten. We won’t be buying Boscastle anymore.
The only pies we buy, after trying out so many brands.. but unfortunately they won't be in Brunswick for much longer only manufacturing in their original Bairnsdale factory. love getting their mixed tray of pies to put in the freezer. Please manufacture closer to town again in future!!
This shop has excellent products and very friendly staff, but will soon be gone unfortunately.
Authentic Australian cuisine, meat pies!!! I had the original all meat pie...I thought it would be bland, but it was surprisingly tasty, with a little kick. I also had the spinach/ricotta roll, which was a wonderful complement to the meat pie. If you are looking for authentic, you won't find better than Boscastle in Melbourne!
The Brunswick shop was empty last month bar patties / herbert addams pies. When asked about the Boscastle pies they told me things have changed ! They sure have , I'll never be back. 20 plus years goodbye.
I buy these from the local IGA and this bakery makes an amazing pie.
We love bocastle pies always good . Tried their pastie for the first time it was a disappointment very bland.
Fresh and frozen pies and other pastries sold - eat in or take away. Great range and yummy. We really enjoy getting some fresh pastries on the way to the train or on the way home. You don't even need sauce. Brunswick is blessed to have such an outlet - long may it remain open!
