Roast with gravy and vegetables was the stingiest portion I've ever encountered. There was another whole roast sitting ready so not a case of just being the tail end of what was available. The vegetables were overcooked and more grey than green. All of this for $17--they charge an extra $2 if you opt for a plate rather than a take-away box. Won't be back.

This place is such a rip off they give you very small portions and charge outrageous prices highly recommend avoiding this place and visiting La Luca aound the corner opposite the victory hotel. This place should be shut down!!

wanting a couple of basic sandwiches 2 of ham cheese tomato and small chips, the price was so absorbitant I just about fell over backwards. $24.00 for 2 sandwiches and a small chips. Buyer beware you will get ripped off in price. avoid the place

Asked for a bacon and egg roll, the lady said she'd be able to cook one up for me. So i paid the $11 very expensive, I thought this is going to be great, and big portion! I end up getting a bacon and egg roll that was barely cooked at all. The bacon appears to be microwaved or maybe placed on a grill for a second or two to make it warm. The eggs were overcooked and gave off that powdery sensation you get from overcooked eggs. It was not good at all; yet it was $11!!! No wonder other reviewers call this place a scam. It's bad, not just bad for the price, bad in general. I don't like liars too, she didn't cook it up for me. I'm not sure how this café is so bad, considering it isn't difficult to cookbacon or eggs. I could have made a better bacon and egg roll if I had access to their grill. And i would have put a lot more bacon and egg in it for $11. Maybe a hash brown, some nice chutney or something. Crazy.
