The Preparatory School is the Lower Mountains’ campus of Blue Mountains Grammar School, located in Valley Heights for Pre-Kindergarten to Year 4 students.

Story

School hours: 8.30am to 3.00pm
Before School Care hours: 7.30am to 8.30am
After School Care hours: 3.15pm to 6.00pm

The Preparatory School was built in 2003 and is the Lower Mountains’ campus of Blue Mountains Grammar School. The Preparatory School is located in Valley Heights and provides a superb learning environment for students in Pre-Kindergarten to Year 4. Campus to campus transport is provided by the School for graduates of the Preparatory School from Year 5.

In the Preparatory School we provide our children with an educational experience extending far beyond the classroom, preparing them for the challenges and opportunities that they will encounter. We maintain smaller class sizes and enjoy a community that embraces the success of each individual through growing up together in unity.

Our innovative programmes, well-equipped campus and buildings designed around a central learning hub all have a single purpose: provide the education, experiences, and the resources needed to prepare students who will grow up to become future leaders.

The School also features a purpose built Early Learning Centre to provide the ideal start for our youngest students.

Our School works in partnership with the Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education and Their Cultures of Thinking Project, which develops future intuitive thinkers. It has been introduced to all Year groups. We are committed to delivering an education that cannot be found anywhere else in the Blue Mountains.
