First time visiting and was very happy with the food and service.Food: 5/5

I asked the Horley life for recommendations for the best Chinese in Horley and the vote went to Blue Lake, rather delicious if I must say. Shared Beef and black bean, duck with bamboo shoots and water chestnuts, chicken chow mien and sweet and sour chicken balls and mushroom Foo yung with friends. Despite having to wait 90mins for delivery It was Chinese New Year Eve well worth the wait and even have some left over for Brunch today!

Always get our takeaway from here, usually have to ring about 90+times to get through. However the service is excellent when you do get through and the food has always been the best we've had.Food: 5/5

bad place refused to deliver to me because i live in a guest house. think its pretty stupid. i live less than 2 miles away. wouldn’t recommend

I’d give it a 1 for our first takeaway with Blue Lake Horley. Egg fried rice doesn’t have an ‘egg’ to be honest. I can only see 3 few small bits of scrambled egg pieces. P.S. Other Chinese takeaways near Horley have impressive egg fried rice.

Food is always good the only problem I have is getting through to them on the phone to make the order without any exaggeration it takes a minimum of 30 radials always line busy but when you go in to order there never on the phone

Has to be the best Chinese restaurant around, we can honestly say if it’s a takeaway or eating in the blue lake restaurant is by far the most delicious Chinese food we have eaten.

Surprisingly good. Food was excellent, better than the exterior or decor indicated. Ideal if you're staying at one of the Gatwick hotels and don't want to pay for over-priced food. Only a 5 minute drive with easy parking, comprehensive menu and reasonable prices.

I have ordered rice with vegetables and meat, specials! When I have to drive to the place to change food for something actually contain more than peace and few peaces of meat I have been told to never come back by very rude waiter. Bad experience!!!

Eat takeaway here regularly and in over 20 years have always had a great experience. Kung Po chicken, Singapore noodles, crispy chilli chicken, Peking spare ribs just delicious
