they have the greatest Loh Bak i had tried in Melbourne. skin was crispy, filling was flavourful. also the owner was so sweet and nice. the chilli with the roasted chicken rice are definitely the best, i cant handle it well, but it’s so good, so good
Dined for dinner, we had lohbak for entree & shared curry chicken, coconut rice & roti for main. I also had a lychee martini. Food & cocktail were tasty & welcoming & friendly service from the female owner. Will return to try other menu items.
Very homely restaurant, some of the food felt a bit rushed but most of the dishes were yum, the banquet option was very affordable~good value!
Great atmosphere, friendly, professional service. Our waiter who I think was the owner was lovely and offered complimentary icecream for our kids. The Stuffed Tofu and Laksa were great. Got our Har Mee Hokkien Noodles and Nasi Lemak Lamb via Deliveroo. They def hit the spot, been craving for them Wish there’s more chillies but there’s no option to include a note in Deliveroo order and their price point to be more accessible. $38 is on a steep side.
This is the best Asian food restaurant I've had in ages. I highly recommend dining in. Wonderful service from the staff from the time we walked in. We had: - Whitebait and sweet potato fritters omg, a must try - Satay chicken so tender! - Beef rendang excellent - Char Kway Teow the wok hei was spot on, albeit we did ask for the no chilli version as we had a kid along - Sambal Okra and eggplant very good Not sure about the people who take away, as food quality always does change with deliveries, but dining in was an excellent experience! We'll be back!
Excellent authentic Malaysian! Delish! Thank you so much for being so accommodating of our little toddler, great hospitality and delicious food. They were all over my dietary requirements which is always really helpful gluten free and dairy free. Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating of gluten-free and dairy free.
Lovely Staff and Even Better food really do recommend this place for a nice dinner out with family. Lots of choices throughout the Menu and very flexible with any dietary requirements
We ordered the curry puffs and spring rolls which came out a bit burnt and overcooked, however the worst dish on the table was a vegetable noodle stir-fry which I still don’t understand how they managed to ruin it so badly that it was inedible. When I mentioned it to the staff, they suggested to add some salt & pepper. Lol Needless to say they didn’t offer to change the dish or take it off the bill since we couldn’t eat it. Would not recommend it.
Haven't been in a long while was pleasantly impressed, homemade spring rolls & curry puffs delicious! We ordered the hawker banquet at $38 pp, portions were generous & could not fault very happy, last minute booking, had a great nightFood: 5/5
