I’ve been there twice by now, the service there has always been professional, attentive and super friendly. Both Lauren and Daniel are very knowledgeable with the products and would offer professional advice according to your experience in dancing and your needs. All in all definitely deserve a 5 star!!!
expect a long wait in this shop during peak hours. the shop assistants provide exclusive service for each customer, even when its busy. this means, after they fetch products for the first customer, they won’t go to help next customer. they will stay beside the first customer and watch them trying on things until this sale finishs. when you see they are just waiting and should have time to answer your questions, they will ask you to go back to the line and wait for your turn. and this is called they are doing their best and customers should not complain.
MISLEADING!!! I had a very bad experience this morning . What a rip off! I have asked the lady for the price of a pair of canvas shoes and she said $35. After I paid the whole bill, I found she charged me $50 for it. I asked her if I can remove this item. She refused and explained me their shop policy that only credit notes are allowed. I told her that's Misleading by charged customer more than what they have been told. She said she won't be able to remember all the price of the items, it was just from top of her head when she advised me. But then whose fault is this? I requested to talk to her manager. She said they did not have manager. I asked her name, she said she would not tell you. The staffs definitely need be trained. I would give them negative stars if Google has this options!!!
The staff are very rude. I don’t recommend. I wanted to make membership card for 10% discount but they refuse to make it. They said because I told my dance company, I have to get with 5% off admin card. I have bought stuff many times. I have never seen their kindness. Or are they racism? Please don’t forget you are seller.
Realy bad experience. I was told that if the shoes are too small, I can change. However, I cannot change the shoes that were too small for my daughter.
Highly not recommended. I was looking for a buckle replacement for my dance shoe. I described the buckle I was looking for, which was not the same I saw in the store so the staff gave me a gesture indicating I was wasting his time that came to the store looking for buckle that was not purchased from their shop.

Absolutely disappointed in their overall customer service. The staff advised my wife what ballet shoes my daughter required based on the specific details of my daughters class, dance school, grade etc.. . We trusted them and before her first class wrote our daughters name on the shoes as you do As it turns out they advised incorrectly and my daughter had the wrong ballet shoes. Store won’t take responsibility for giving the wrong advice and won’t replace or refund the shoes. Store manager by the name of Olivia simply refused to take responsibility. These guys are not experts and don’t take their advise. Ended up buying the correct shoes from AKA Dancewear in North Ryde.
Today I arrived at Bloch Chatswood to get a pair of character shoes at 16:40. They close at 5. And the lady told me they are not doing any more shoe fitting for the day and the closed sign is displayed at the shop front. I could see there just one or two customers in the shop at that time and shoe fitting area was totally empty. Instead there were 4 shop assistances wandering around, had nothing to do. I think any one of them could spare may be just 5 minute to do a shop fitting for me. It did not say shoe fitting is by appointment only or any where say they are not doing shoe fitting 20 minutes before closing time. And the lady told me they were closed was just standing and guarding the door far before 5. I think they totally can serve one or more customers before the closing time.
I've invited this store 4,5 times in the last a couple of months since I took up some dancing lessons. I have to say they offered ZERO customer service. Every time I visited this store I have to spend ages looking for the right outfit or shoes by myself, no one approached me to ask if I needed any help. As cold as can be. Last time I ended up buying the wrong shoes because I had ZERO assistance or advice. $170 totally wasted. This store reminds me of some sort of automatic supermarkets - finding the products on your own and shop assistant only talks to you at check out.
