Absolute gem of a cafe. Excellent service. Excellent coffee. Excellent food. This cafe could be mistaken for the very best in Sydney. Easily 5 stars! The Happy coffee was wow. Perfectly balanced though it had essentially double ristrettos. Was spot on for the long drive back home!
Had the apple crumble waffle and batch brew. Coffee from 5 senses was good as always. Good portion size and great flavours but the muesli crumble could have been broken up into smaller prices so that it could have been enjoyed with more bites. It was quite hard to break up in the bowl and so less bites had a combination of all the elements in the dish. The slices of fresh apple were a good choice to help freshen the dish and add a pop of colour.
So I just finished breakfast at this establishment. First and last time. Fried eggs and bacon with coffee. Most of the bacon was burnt and crumbling black, sourdough a little burnt. Eggs were cooked properly. Coffee tasted good, tho it was cold. The cafe was not busy, only 7 or 8 customers eating with a steady stream of coffee purchasers. Coffee made in shop not kitchen so no excuse for burning food. I would not recommend this joint.
The! place to stop and enjoy a proper coffee and some amazing food in Mildura. We stopped in on the way from Adelaide and where lucky enough to experience the best of what any cafe could offer. Best of all, Friendly service, a great energy place to be. Google should allow extra stars for places that go over and above.
Wowza !!! I ordered the tomato on toast with bacon and Mushrooms on the side. I was served a generous and delicious meal beautifully presented and layered with gorgeous flavours highlighting the beautiful produce. Highly recommend you give this place a try .
Had some great coffee, decent sized mugs! The smashed avos brekky was nice with the feta and I snuck in a potato rosti too. Simple menu but everything seemed to be done well.
Limited lockdown menu but plenty available still. Coffee was excellent. I had the smashing avos and it was delicious. The only disappointment was there was only 1 piece of bread and, even though it was a large piece, it ran out before the rest. It was a generous sized breakfast. It was all fresh and local. Staff were very friendly and sweet. I will definitely be going back.
Packed out on the Sunday we visited due to a great reputation. A short wait was rewarded with a place at the big table inside. Staff were excellent and clearly proficient from many similar busy days. Food was fresh, tasty and well presented. Coffee was high quality and warranted a second helping.
The BEST service, almost hands down anywhere. Definitely the best coffee in Mildura and could easily compete with specialist coffee houses in our major cities. The food is also fabulous and there's a nice laneway to sit in which feels a bit like you're in Melbourne.
Had the chicken burger with fries: the burger was good, but the fries were worse than those at McDonald's. Plus I entered at 1:30pm of Saturday and it says that it closes at 2pm. They were already mopping the floor around me while I was eating. Not a big problem: I'm a tourist from Italy and I understand that we have lunch later than the Australians.
