Absolutely five stars for Blackboard Varsity! Their new menu is outstanding—each dish is a delight. With such a wide variety of options, it's clear why this is my favourite spot in Varsity Lakes. Big thanks to Dan and the team for consistently delivering delicious food and warm customer service. Highly recommended!
I was in the area and decided to stop by based on the great reviews, which naturally set my expectations high. The concept is good, and the food looked appealing, but the taste was underwhelming. For my palate, it even lacked flavor, and the atmosphere felt cold. I should mention that I’m from Germany and accustomed to European standards. I ordered the heirloom beetroot and halloumi salad with chicken and a coconut water. I wouldn’t visit again.nnThank you for your response, but I need to clarify a few details. I was actually there yesterday, on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024, at 1 pm. The restaurant wasn’t full, and it didn’t seem particularly busy at the time. I was also there alone, not with friends. I ate everything because I was hungry, but that doesn’t change my initial feedback.
Visited here for my first time on a Sunday at lunchtime with a friend. Really enjoyed the ambiance and the menu had something for everyone. Everything came out quickly and coffee and food were fabulous and flavourful! Will definitely be back to try more!
First time visiting and food was delicious! It came out quick even though it was such a busy day but we got a table straight away. It’s a great spot as it’s near the lake, shops, and parks. The only con was the staff needs to be more friendly or just smile a little.
