Blackbird Cafe

We went for a group lunch. We had almost no service. There’s lots of staff standing around but we couldn’t wave anyone down. Food came out super slow for some and extremely fast for others. The menu is also quite basic for somewhere so nice.

Popped in for happy hour yesterday. Their $8 cocktails were good with a side of sweet potato chips. Nice seating area with good views. Staff were ok, casual atmosphere, fair prices.

Went on early Saturday morning, lucky was not very busy and had a seat straight away with no waiting. The service was alright and the food came quick. But for my opinion, the price was above average and the food was not surprised me at all. I understand it is set up for Instagram blogger so I would say it’s worth to come in once.

Cocktails and food were nice. Sun on the balcony was a killer late afternoon and no shade blinds. Service was appalling. We had to try and wave somebody down if we needed anything...food or drinks. Staff were nice when we managed to get someone. Music was extremely loud but sitting outside we could still hear each other...just.

This bar / cafe is located on the city side of Darling Harbour, on the first floor overlooking the water. Can’t comment on the food as we only had drinks, but their Amaretto Sours were perfect and the overall vibe is relaxed. A nice place for an afternoon drink in summer.

Great food, everything was cooked so well. But i expected more from reading the reviews. It did not disappoint though. My favourite thing was the pepperoni pizza

Visited Blackbird with my wife after hearing many great things and it did not disappoint. The service was acceptable and the food was delicious. good view to enjoy Saturday vibe Will return.
