Needed a spot for some lunch in Halls Gap and the kids were feeling like pizza so we gave the Black panther Cafe a shot. Great little local spot with enough seating inside and outside for small groups of between 4-8 with their larger tables outside. Big display of cakes inside to keep everyone happy and a large selection of toppings for the pizzas. When we dined their pizzas came out pretty quickly but during long weekend or public holiday times it can be a little wait as they get busier. Overall very happy with our service and our experience at the Black Panther. Kid-friendliness: Great selection of cakes, enough choice in pizza and other items to keep the kids happy.
Had a delicious breakfast this morning. We were travelling in group so we ordered various dishes & all of them came plate full, more than enough for one person. All meals presented great. I recommend Avocado smash & Egg Benedict.... yumm
Ate here twice. Food was very good quality and generous. Coffee was very enjoyable, a dark roast that still left some of the fruitiness of the coffee. A good choice for a simple meal that can easily be shared between two people with an informal atmosphere.
Friendly service but they stuffed up my order, which was waffles, bacon, maple syrup, strawberries and ice cream. When it finally came l felt it was rushed, the waffle was straight out of the fridge..... Stone cold, hot bacon on the side, ice-cream and 1 strawberry with a light squirt of maple syrup..the cost was a tad dear for that careless meal.
Great place after tedious climb to the pinnacle..good selection of food ans price is reasonable..nice coffee too..we went during the Christmas period and they were short of staff..but they did their best to serve us ..
Had a nice time over a coffee and chat with friends. Double shot espresso was 4/5 , Almond latte 1/5
We got a pepperoni and Supreme pizza, both were fantastic and served to us in less than 5 minutes! The beers were cold and the food was delicious. The staff brought our food straight to us even though they were super busy!Food: 5/5
We were staying in Halls Gap and went to the Black Panther cafe twice. Both times the food was excellent and good value for money. The owners were extremely obliging and we were served very efficiently. We would definitely recommend it and would eat here again. Parking: Parking is not a problem as there is plenty of parking nearbye.
Lactose free milk available! Coffee was very hot but not burnt, was not bad. $6.50 for a large coffee with lactose free milk.
This place has really good seating and gives you options to either sit inside or outside. The tables can easily fit a family. The people were really nice there as well. Although do give them a break they are currently understaffed so we did understand. Our orders came pretty quick, not to mention that it was fresh and hot. I would rate it 3.5 but google maps doesn’t allow that. Service 4.5 Seating location 3.8 Food 3.9 Also the food was a little pricy
