Bitter Suite is one of the Best Restaurants in New Farm for casual dining, Australian cuisine and craft beer. The venue has operated for seven years in New Farm. The main menu operates for lunch and dinner from midday until late 6 days a week. Excellent service, good amount of staff, Margaret welcomes you with warmth and smiles, very friendly and attentive. Pretty atmosphere and ambience comfortable but nicer than a pub feel. So affordable food and drinks. Great location - close to The Powerhouse Brisbane. Definitely be back!
Sadly fell short of expectations. The food got a pass mark but I suggest adding the fries to the burgers and simply upping the price by $4 optics. The burgers were ok otherwise but no excuse for leaving lettuce off a burger visually even it's important, the dips and bread were cold and had an odd pesto as one of the dips that was not nice at all though the very smokey hummus was. The staff were friendly but unfortunately collectively clueless though I acknowledge one guy was certainly new. The margarita was good and grabbed some ice cream next door after which was great and helped salvage the night a bit.
Loved it here. Great , fast service, warm and very helpful ,friendly staff. Meal was delicious and quite reasonably priced considering location. I came here with my family, and we all felt very welcome. Thank you JP
Tonight’s service was excellent. We had a very simple bowl of chips and several drinks. What really cemented this venue as a return visit was the service from Margaret and Naomi. Between the two, I felt at home and informed. I would come back night after night, if only for Margaret. Good work team, thanks again.
Came here for dinner a few weeks ago and enjoyed ourselves. Food was ok, but staff were very friendly.
Bitter Suite is a great meeting place, fit for a few or many drinks and great food. Margaret and Naomi were so helpful and lovely and have honestly left me wanting more of their friendly smiles and kind words. Naomi had amazing suggestions about all drinks on the menu and Margaret was the loveliest kindest soul you ever will meet
We had a wine event here a few weeks ago. Tony was super kind to host us considering they aren't BYO. We had our wine club tasting here which included dinner. Tony looked after us so well; he let us stay until 11pm on a Tuesday night even though we were the only ones there that late, and he always ensured we had what we needed. Super grateful for an awesome night. We look forward to having our event there again.

Awesome atmosphere, great for a drink. Fast friendly service. My son and I are visiting from the north. We drove by, dropped in and were impressed with the exterior. Great design. Awesome name. Arrived at 5pm. Served by 5:05. Eating by 5:15. Fast. The Mexican Chicken in the picture was astounding. I am not a pub schnitzel fan. Yuck. But the Mexican touch with the Jalapeños - Phwoar. The chilli squid didn't live up to my expectations - damn I love seafood. A bit floury - needed a touch of Tabasco. Hint to the Chef. The Latte was perfect. 12mm of small bubbles. Smooth milk texture. Just the right balanced tones of bitter crema and sweet milk. Who needs sugar when your latte is this good? But the Sticky toffee seemed a little dry and the crust was 2min too long in the oven. and this is usually my favorite too. Price? Reasonable. Worth returning. Till next time - Sorry guys. 2 things to improve on. This review is completely independent.
Dissapointed! $17 for this pasta and few pieces of pancetta. Very bland, not enough sauce, Was given salt, didn't even offer a replacement. Tropical smoothie was not good either and expensive. Service was quite good but foods need a lot of improvement.
