Lovely restaurant with a homely feel and good local produce. Service was friendly and checked in with us several times throughout our meal. We ordered the steak Parisien and the pork belly. Both dishes were amazing; the steak was a perfect medium rare with delicious garlic butter melted on top and the pork belly had amazing crackle. The local wine we ordered along completed the food very well. All in all if you’re passing by, I’d say this place is well worth it.
The meal was incredible, one of the best meals I've eaten. Slow cooked pork cheek. Just wow. Excellent presentation, portions, and host was lovely and accommodating. Also dessert was delicious. They also have a great range of local wines. Eat here. You won't be sad.
Good local restaurant. Had the prawn and scallop ravioli and steak with prawns. Both had a lovely creamy sauce.
Great place nice atmosphere, Nicole is the hostest with mostest. Very knowledgeable. The ravioli lobster bisque with prawns was to die for. Went back twice. Open Mondays and Tuesdays.
We spent the weekend in Kangaroo Valley and booked ourselves in for our anniversary dinner. We enjoyed the relaxed vibe, friendly service and the local, seasonal food. We also loved the local wine selection too and were able to select wine from the winery we'd visited during our stay!
Great spot for an upscale dinner. Open for lunch and dinner. We loved the bruschetta. Fresh with crispy bread. I had the blackfish which was moist, flakey and yummy .the fresh vegetables were yummy. My hubbys lamb was perfectly cooked. Apple rhubarb crumble was good although my only tiny criticism would be that the crumble was a bit doughy and could have been a bit more cooked. We ate all of it because it still was very tasty. Great service. Strongly recommend a booking on weekends.
We had a great lunch there. The homemade pork and duck terrine was delicious.
Recommend that you book ahead. Staff were friendly and food arrived fast. The beef wasn't that great but the risotto a special was truly something else. The dessert was also really unique and had a lot of flavour. A lovely place to be in the midst of winter as it is nice and warm too. Highly recommended to all those in the area!
Once again we had a fabulous evening here. We had a big party of adults and kids, and all the staff were helpful and accommodating and patient.....with such a large group making a fair bit of noise! Food was delicious, and amazing value. Great wine to boot. Definitely be back!
i have to say, best lamb I've ever had!!! Seriously so tender and juicy. Its important to note we had a newborn with us so had to have the food to go. Even then it was amazing, also must try the sticky date pudding. Overall the staff were very accommodating also. Will definitely return.
