Came here for dinner on a Wednesday night, would recommend booking ahead since they get really busy. Ordered the gnocchi and a pizza and needless to say the food was amazing. Staff were very welcoming and complied with all our needs. Will be coming back here for sure!Recommended dishesGnocchi Al Ragu
Stumbled upon this place by accident whilst looking for a place for dinner. They sat us down two very quickly on sat night without a booking. They have gluten free pasta and pizza options which are both delicious. Lots of variety and generous portions!
The food is delicious, but customer satisfaction is a main issue. All of the staff members are very friendly, except for one Italian bald guy at the reception whom I initially thought was the owner. One time, during heavy rain, a delivery boy entered the restaurant and the bald guy scolded him very harshly for not holding the pizza bag parallel to the ground. I felt that this was an act of racism. Parking: Has parking issue
Amazing pizza, seems very authentic Italian. The ingredients are tasty, the base tastes nice and is on the thin side which I prefer. I love that they have chilli oil as well. Cute and romantic atmosphere. Friendly staff. A bit pricey maybe, but you get a great experience. I hope they don't change anything because it is almost perfect as it is, at least for pizza I have not tried their pasta yet.
Great Pizza, service was good but the Pasta and Calamari were pretty ordinary, under seasoned and bland. I had the Gnocchi Ragu, lots of meat but tasted like it come out of a tin. Will give them another go but skip the Pasta next time.

As you enter the place you are welcomed by a magnificent setting,  Sitting in any table you have a wonderful view of the workshop-like kitchen where you can see the chef cooking and the ”pizzaiolo” making pizzas. The menu offers a wide variety of starters, pizzas, pastas, dessert and everyone be satisfied. I had the white tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and sausages which is very tasty, and I had an amazing pizza with very good taste, cooked perfect and with a fantastic presentation. If you come you need absolutely to try their cannoli, pannacotta and tiramisù which are the perfect dessert after an excellent dinner, all again freshly home made.To finish my dinner I tried their coffee martini which is a perfect combination of a good espresso mixed with the particular flavour of the Martini which was exquisite!!! All the products were fresh and the dishes are all home-made. The chefs takes great care in selecting the best quality ingredients. The restaurant also caters for all tastes by providing a large selection of the best wines of the region and of course from Italy too! the owner and all the amazing staff is always around willing to exchange some kind words with all her clients, smiling and make you feel being home. I had a pleasant dining experience with food of the most exquisite flavours. For this reason I highly recommend going to this restaurant!!
Birichino has some of the best authentic style pizzas I've ever had. Their Tartufo and Babbo pizzas are definitely the two best in my opinion, with the Tartufo being my absolute favourite - an earthy and umami delight with buffalo mozzarella to bring a well rounded balance of flavours together. Their homemade gnocchi is fluffy and delicious, with my favourite being the four cheese - the ragu sauce needs a touch more of salt and maybe some porcini mushrooms. These dishes are best shared as flavours can become overwhelming if an entire dish is eaten to one person.
