Music and dance floor was fine but staff were pretty racist, kicked out for literally no reason at all other than the fact I was Asian, and met some other asians outside the club that faced a similar situation as well. The bouncers and the bartenders are unfriendly and offer zero reason as to why they will kick you out. Don’t bother reentering as they might put a 1 year ban on your ID. Take note all of this is happening in 2022 in Melbourne. Take your business elsewhere, there are plenty of clubs that are way more fun and hospitable.
A racist club .. waited in a queue for around an hour and when our turn came just said that you ain’t on guest list. First place I tried to go out in Melbourne and this is how our group was treated. Writing this review right from outside the club. Beware, if your not a white you will be kicked out . We were kicked out by a person whom we didn’t expect to be racist. The person was not an Australian.
My mistake that I did not read these reviews before I went to this place, but yes I completely agree this place has definitely got some issue going on. Bouncers keep walking into random people for no apparent reason. Had it has happened once I would have understood, but they kept doing that to me and others until I left. Of course you can’t complain against them, come on it’s a club.
There are tons of reviews about this place being racist, and they’re all true. My friends went to this club and were denied entry, being told they that it was a ratio problem. However during that same time they let several single, white men in. When my friend asked the bouncer why the white men were being let in but not any people of colour, he was abusive. It is appalling that a club in Melbourne which is such a diverse city could be this racist.
My friends and I checked it out last night, intrigued by the reviews but I didn't see any discrimination at all. The bouncers were friendly and the bartenders were quick to serve. We left early as it wasn't our crowd. More like for under 25's But overall, the dance floor, the DJ and the lights were epic
Been to Billboards many times but today 19/06/2022 around 2:10 am we experienced Racism from these bouncers. We were 3 of us and waited for a few minutes in the line. When we reached the entrance, one of the bouncers fair guy with average beard wearing black jacket, blue jeans and cap put us aside out of the line without any information why he did that. He allowed others to let in but not us and several others who were Asians. I asked him politely what happened and why he isn’t allowing us inside - he simply ignored it and said nothing. When i asked the other bouncer, he said “I really don’t know haha” and laughed. The bouncer who was ignoring us, he heard that and also laughed. I told him that this is not fair.. at least tell us the reason and yet again ignored. This shows rudeness of their staff no wonder whoever recruits them really doesn’t know what type of people they are hiring. This should not be allowed. No wonder it has such bad reviews from others. Really don’t understand that even after so many bad reviews, why do they still keep this staff with no respect at all. I hope this information really help others and NOT going to this club to face this type of racism that we experienced.
Some ego tripping staff here that need a reality check. Security were ok but small bloke in a backwards flat cap was walking around the line abusing the people in it, saw multiple people leave because of him. Huge sense of entitlement, must be the owners son or something. Security seemed to hate him as well, not sure how he still has a job there. Wouldn’t come back. Dance floor and music were alright.
I went with my friends here and we were denied entry by the bouncers. Reason: Your name isn't in the guest list. We stood there for few minutes and saw that others were allowed inside. So basically if you are brown, you will be denied entry. Well that's how its works. Apt case of racism.
Racism and discrimination is at its peak. Preferring white over all asians. Please do not stay on line if you are asian you’ll waste your time. Bouncers will kick you out from line and will tell you to do social distancing.
Shocking that there is racism exists in this day and age. Black Bearded gaurd thinks he’s still in his own country and not in australia where everyone is treated equally with respect and not judged on your color. We came all the way from sydney and he ruined our night
