The dress code is unfair for the girls as it really uncomfortable to wear heels for a long period of time throughout. It’s also quite dangerous as during my experience I had nearly hurt my ankles and knees several times on the dance floor. I really wanted to have a good time but it’s hard to enjoy your night when your constantly thinking about the pain your in.
Just ate a couple amazing woodfired pizzas for $24 bucks each. They have happy hour from 3 to 6. $9 pints. Nice music and not too noisy on an early wed night.
Venue isn’t too bad, however the bouncers fit the stereotype of all bouncers… absolute jobsworth. I left the venue, then realised i left my bag at the cloakroom… no way was in allowed back to get my bag without a stamp.
My friends and I were turned away from entering CQ because of what we were wearing apparently. The security guard told us we needed to be in either a mini skirt or a dress… it is the middle of winter 2° when we were waiting in line. So disgusting and disappointing. We were dressed in nice tops and jeans. I wouldn’t recommend supporting a business that tells women what they can and can’t wear…yuck.
Bouncers rude, denied entry due to dress code. But it was a clearly a ratio issue. No refund offered. Red flag when they’re ticketing system is male and female. Don’t bother going if you are not going with at least 2 female friends, but honestly don’t bother. Plenty of way better places to go. Would give 0 starts if was an option.
The security didn’t let me in first, because I was moving too much in line as I was busting to pee. But, they let me in second time. And laughed after they heard I have to pee in an alley. So I expect, they didn’t let me in cause they thought it was funny. And me and my boyfriend was walking around. And 4 security surround us and kicked my boyfriend out for no reason. I Would put this place 0 stars. Don’t be bothered coming here. Especially if you are male.
update** i contacted them and they refund our tickets in full, actually impressed with the professionalism absolute joke. we bought skip the line and had birthday vip thinking we wouldn’t have to wait too long, waited almost 2 hours and when we finally go up the front the guy scanned all my tickets although i specifically said only 2 + birthday. this meant that 3 of my friends weren’t allowed in later on because their tickets were already “scanned in”. they wouldn’t even let my friend just pay because she apparently didn’t have a stamp, which was ultimately their fault. such a waste of time and money.
Not even worth a star, but I had to choose a star in order to write this review. The worst club ever. I just came out from the club and waited at the front door because of the cold I was covering myself behind the automatic doors and those so called security guards throw me out as if I did something wrong to them. I was waiting for my boyfriend to pick me up and wasn’t even drunk. They were arguing with me about the rules and asked me to leave their doors. I asked them nicely to let me stay since it cold for just 5-10 minutes. I am very disappointed and felt they were very racist towards me since I am dark skinned. This just happened an hour ago. Never ever going back and won’t let any of my friends go there.
Waited an hour in line, got to the front and was about to be let in by the security guard when a dude in a scarf runs down and says “I’m gonna be honest with you we don’t want people like you here” and kicks me and my mate out of the line we were both in a button up shirt, jeans, nice shoes and completely sober guess it must’ve been because we’re middle eastern
‘security’ chose random guys and kicked them out, was unlucky enough to be the first guy a small bald ‘security guard’ saw, wouldn’t let me back in to get my jacket that i stored in the cloak room. If you’re a male good luck they discriminate and steal your property
