Looked good on the website, but went to pick it up and the place was extremely dirty. Got a bottle of coke that was flat and not full - seemed like it may have been opened! The chips were undercooked and I ordered a chicken burger and was given a beef burger that was beef, bread, old Lettuce and sauce. The fried rice did not taste right and we have to throw away almost all of the meal. Recommend ordering in person and deciding for yourself.
Food was terrible and inedible we had to throw it out. Sweet and sour chicken was more fried chicken and tomato sauce. The banana fritter was in with the fish and chips and didnt have cinnamon or sugar. The fish was overcooked and chewy We only recieved 1 hash brown instead of 2 The chips could have done with some more cooking The chicken in the burger was off The corn fritter had was a mess and had some white plastic in it, I not sure how much I had eaten of it before feeling something odd and spitting it out. Very embarrassed as I suggested ordering from this place. Should have read the reviews first. I think the Health Department should inspect them
Ordered through Uber for a toasted chicken sandwich instead received what appeared to be some kind cheaply made broken beef pattie with cheese, some random tomato sauce and lettuce... I was so shocked it looked like something that was made from left overs from a dinner gone wrong because the flatmate had forgotten it was his turn for the shopping run. Who orders chicken but gets beef? The bread wasn't even toasted
Terribly embarrassed I chose this place for our flat dinner. The fish was inedible, it was not fresh at all and the outside felt like it had been deep fried multiple times before. The chips were cold and the burger was an absolute mess and yuck. There is also no chance this place has an A grade rating. Avoid this place at all costs.
Avoid this place! Worst fish and chips I have ever tasted. The chips were cold, the fish was not fresh and the wait took a lifetime as there was only one person cooking. The chips were out of the deep fryer for 15 minutes before she served them. Do not ever go to this place
Very upset to pay $90 and throw the food out…inedible. My apology to the business in these difficult times however the quality of all the food was the worst our whānau have experienced.
Opens early for a fish and chip place. Good service she's only working by herself and also great quantity. Would recommend if ur looking for a quick feed
Service Great but....... I asked if they had all the food when passed it, as the food seemed very light. Sure enough, got home and opened up to the smallest pieces of fish ever seen, which as a result were dry. This was Snapper. The rest was also very small. $31 for 3 people. Still hungry. Next time will make the trip to the more reputable F and C shops that are local. No wonder there was no one in the shop.
Delightful owner who always has a smile on her face and provides amazing service. Great for a quick takeaway with heaps of options. Very good value on all of the food I’ve ever had. Excellent chips and crumbed fish. Also recommend the cheeseburger, much better than most regular fish and chips shops and seems like the beef is hand patted. Has been consistently great!
I ordered online on Saturday morning at 11am, things seemed OK, but it turned out it was closed when I arrived to pick up. Not sure if they have closed for good?
