We hired 2 bikes from here. The bikes were in good condition with a lock and safety equipment provided. Andy was very pleasant and provided us with a map highlighting a suggested route to take. We visited several vineyards but could only complete 1 tasting as I was driving. I would highly recommend Bike Hire Marlborough for a great day out.
Andy and Matt are both so friendly and super helpful. I arrived straight from the airport, they stored my luggage for me and I was on a bike within 30 mins of landing. Matt provided me with a detailed map and some great advice meaning I saw 3 incredible wineries. I had a great time! They even dropped me back at my accommodation afterwards. Highly recommended!
This was such a fun day. We did a full day with the pick up and drop off. We managed to explore 6-7 wineries and a brewery. The guides have us such great advice on which wineries to target based on what we enjoy. Highly recommended going down to the river and checking out the spectacular views spectacular for us as the wildflowers were out!
Met Andy who was very friendly and helpful to guide us through. Price was reasonable $40 for adult, 3-hour. I had a trailer attached for my kid. Andy helped us with all the things we need. Very good experience
Go with these guys. Andy was super friendly and helpful in helping us choose our route for the day, and he picked out three superb wineries to visit which we never would have visited without his knowledge.
Andy was exceptional and went above and beyond by giving us a lift to breakfast as our first stop was closed unexpectedly due to Covid. The bikes were comfortable and great value for money too. Thanks team!
Great experience thanks Karen. We were picked up from our accommodation and taken to the area where there are the best wineries all within an easy cycle distance, and all on the flat, nice easy back roads and lots of cycle tracks. Very clear instructions and the bikes were great. Would definitely recommend this company.
Hard to imagine a better place to rent bikes in Marlborough. Perfect location, great bikes fully equipped, E-bikes, etc. Just call if you have any trouble online. They are very helpful. Location has a nice cafe, which is great because the winery cafes can book up in the summer season reserve ahead of time. Shares a building with Whitehaven’s tasting venue. You don’t want to ride very far on bikes as the wind can really gust, so I recommend staying within 1-2 kilometers or choosing a car/tour if possible. They do offer pick up and drop off service if needed.
We didn't need a pickup as we were staying at a hotel right across the road so we just walked over, having made a booking in advance. We got a super briefing on the area, routes to take, best vineyards to visit, and possible lunch stops, and had a good chat with one of the owners. Our bikes were in good condition, so everything worked beautifully and we had a great time. It's a super way to do some wine tasting without the hassle of a car or the expense of a driver or winery tour. We loved it.
Wonderful place to rent a bike. Andy was so informative about where to ride. We were picked up at our lodge and dropped back off. Very flexible, friendly and knowledgeable. We all party of 5 had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend these guys!!!!
