bike central, conveniently located in Mermaid beach Gold coast, has been a family owned and run store since 2008 .Our backyard is the beautiful Gold coast beach so naturally we stock the biggest range of beach cruisers in Australia. bike central also stock a nice selection of fixies, MTB, hybrids, BMX and kids bikes, along with a great selection of parts and accessories so there’s no reason for anyone in the family to miss out. Combine this with a fully functioning workshop offering the quickest and cheapest repairs on the coast, and the most friendly and helpful staff imaginable and you will discover how bike central will make your next bike store experience the best one yet !!!

Ladies and Gentlemen Here am I today to entertain you with my story Here is my experience with this shop and my feedback for them Grab the popcorn and wear your 3D glasses because I am about to marvel you with the best story ever Three years ago 2019 I bought a $100 bike at Kmart for my fiancée. At the time, I didn't have the possibility to park it in a safe place and I was forced to leave it tied up on the street So such a cheap bike was perfect for that purpose. In these three years we have found a better home and now we have the possibility to keep the bicycles in a safe place In fact, we recently were even thinking that was the moment to upgrade the bicycles and buying a better quality product, and we had seen some interesting offers from 99Bikes in Ashmore because close to our new house. On 06/04/2022 I was having a problem with the rear wheel bearing on the aforementioned $100 bike, and I went to Bike Central as it is closer to my workplace. The repair was done in one day at a fair cost of $20 total The next day, when I went to collect the wheel with my girlfriend, we took a look at the bicycles on display in the shop As we had just received good service from Bike Central, we had changed our mind and wanted to buy the new bicycles there. More specifically, a couple of new electric bicycles for the price of $3,300 each. Being in a hurry, we decided to return there in the near future to choose more calmly. Unfortunately few weeks later, on 27/04/2022 the aforementioned $100 bike had a puncture in the same rear wheel The tread, very worn by the time, was completely torn After verifying that the spare parts were not available neither at Kmart nor at BigW I decided, in order not to waste time and in consideration of the honest service received the previous time, I decided to return to Bike Central. Unfortunately they could not carry out the repair on the spot because the tire was not available, it had to be ordered from the supplier and still had to wait for the shop owner to finish his convalescence. Not in a hurry, I was fine with this terms, and I left the wheel there for repair and my phone number. This morning 05.05.2022 I was finally contacted by the shop informing me that the wheel was ready. I went back to the shop this afternoon. Once at the checkout I was seriously surprised by the final price of $69 SIXTY-NINE!!! If I knew it before, for $30 more I would have bought another new $100 bicycle at Kmart. When I asked for an explanation, I was told that the price was divided into $19 for material and $50 for labor costs. I honestly believe that $50 in labor to change a tire for which I had to wait almost ten days is excessive, especially considering the fact that the previous repair on the bearing made on 06.04.2022 which requires much more working time and expertise than changing a tire had cost me $ 20 ‍ I am honestly not happy with the treatment I received today I feel I've been teased After this experience I changed my mind and I will go to invest my $6600 at 99Bikes Well done guys you made a very good commercial choice today
I recently purchased my new bike from Bike Central and I absolutely love it. The service I received was outstanding. I was unsure whether to buy a cruiser or mountain bike and Bike Central helped make my decision easy by providing amazing advice and allowing me to try both. Five Star service, advice and prices! I even got a basket to go with my new bike so now I can enjoy bike riding with my family! Thanks Bike Central!

Have bought a beach cruiser bike here before and absolutely loved it the team here are great and the best customer service, I recently had to get my bike seat fixed and it was done within the hour I was very happy with the quick service so would highly recommend bike central,
Fantastic services and very knowledgeable. The guys helped me out with my bike repair and even had the parts in stock ready to go. Also appreciated the services/advise on sizing for a new bike for my daughter. Happy to call this "my bike shop" from now on.
