I went in to pick up another item I had purchased online, and while there asked David about the Marin Gestalt X10. He was very helpful and knowledgeable, and I went away with the intention of buying the bike in the future. As it turned out, the future was only several days, and I went back and test rode the bike, then put a holding deposit on it. Today I returned to pay the balance and was helped by Tanya, who was also very helpful , and had excellent customer service skills. She went through the sale process, and checked that all the safety checks and pre delivery checks were completed. It was a pleasant experience shopping at 99 Bikes Manukau, and I will be back to shop again in the future.
Very prompt service :- and young lady who served me understood my concern re the rusty forks on both bikes. However not so happy with the suggestion it had happened because I keep a cover over the bikes when they are in transit on the rear of my caravan. This is happening on bikes that are less than a year old and I hope to have this resolved after the forks have been returned to the importer.
I highly recommend anyone looking at buying a bike to go to 99 Bikes, Manukau City. We found them to have good prices, very good customer service and an amazing amount of knowledge/information given to us - especially Tanya and Eugene who we dealt with. Tanya salesperson and Eugene mechanic were amazing!! They spent a lot of time answering all our questions and giving us great advise about electric bikes. As well as suggesting the best bike for our needs, etc. We have since spoken with friends who have also recently bought electric bikes, from elsewhere, and they weren't told anywhere near as much info and tips for looking after their bikes as Tanya and Eugene gave us. We had had our bikes for about 10 weeks now and had the free service which we were also very happy with too. Great Customer Service!!
These guys are the absolute BEST!!!! I can't even tell you how unbelievable the customer team is there in Manukau. The kindness they have for their customers is beyond any other. Honestly, they deserve a raise! David was so kind, patient and incredibly informative. Absolutely made my daughters birthday come alive, and it is all thanks to their service. Thank you THANK YOU!
Friendly and helpful service. These guys went above and beyond to assemble and then re-box our bikes for our riding adventures whilst visiting NZ. Amazing care was taken to package them perfectly for our flight back to Australia. Grateful for the quick turnaround at both ends of our trip. Thanks guys!
Took my 4 year old's bike in to get the chain fixed. The guy who helped us couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. He fixed the bike while my son and I watched. Within 5mins, it was all fixed and was very well priced. My son rode his little bike out of the store with the biggest smile on his face!! Thanks team, job well done!!
I had a very nice experience. The team member Daniel was so helpful. He suggested me couple of bikes suitable for me. Though I kept asking things he explained everything so clearly.
Can't believe I went back a second time! Not happy with service of my bike last year, returned to me unridable went in yesterday to buy a new chain. I specifically asked whether it came with a quick link, and was told of course, they almost all do. Got it home, no quick link. Will not be going back again. Truly appalling service.

Excellent service, you actually get served and people ask you how they can help unlike the big chain stores I went to for stuff & bike stuff probably 20x the staff in the actual stores - No one will ask you if they can help. Good on you 99 Bikes!
