I had a disappointing experience at Big W Southland. My friends and I were trying to decide on a perfume by smelling different options when a staff member named Jenny approached us and rudely told us to stop. As a Chemist Warehouse Assistant Manager, I know customers should be able to test fragrances before purchasing.nnWe couldn’t help but feel that her behavior was personal, as we are gay and simply enjoying our time. It made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. This situation should be addressed so all customers can shop without feeling judged.

First visit to this Big W, and totally impressed. The Store feels very spacious, very tidy. The staff in the Service desk, the guy at the door, even the staff we passed on the floor, were all very friendly, made eye contact, and  smiled. We live in the CBD, but it’s a Big W Id definitely visit again.

Being falsely accused of not paying for items that were in my basket at the bottom of my pram was the lowest part of my day yesterday. I put in a formal complaint and we'll see what the outcome is. I understand the shops' security is there to catch shop lifters but I'm not one of these common criminals. They apologised for their mistake and let me go. I'd definitely won't be shopping there again.nnAll I went in there was to find a frame for a couple of prints I had brought with me but I had no success. It's not a standard size print so you need to either get a framer to make you up one or go hunting around a shop looking for the right size with the print on your person. Apparently, this is not a done thing in Big W.nnAppalling customer service, my complaint went nowhere. Twice I went onto Big Ws online to get some clarity as to the status of it, but both team members couldn't provide me with anything and said they'd put a priority on it, now 3 1/2 weeks later, no response. I'm probably wasting my time here, but hopefully get a response this week.

Aside from the queue for click & collect, the staff were friendly, warm and efficient, the store was clean and spacious, they do need more trolleys and bigger trolleys as well and they should all be unlocked
