Honestly amazing! This is my first time buying from Mecca, and I could not fault the experience. Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. They didn't go for a pushy sale or make me feel like I had to buy such a pleasant change from most retail stores!  I will definitely be back, and I could go to the city store as it is much closer, but I'll drive to Cheltenham just because the service was that good : Thanks ladies!

Love Mecca, wish there was one on the Peninsula. Also wish they would upgrade their Mecca brand lipsticks. I got Poker Face 2 years ago but the rest are all too dark.

Walked in apprehensively for the first time to try a new Too Faced foundation I had read about. Within 30 seconds a gorgeous friendly staff member with blonde hair & glasses unfortunately didn’t catch her name approached me and was effortlessly helpful & so sweet! Exceptional service & I will definitely be back! I used to shop at MAC in MYER but won’t be back as I find the employees pretentious, rude and leave you standing there waiting without an acknowledgement for ages. I thought all cosmetic sales assistants were like that but after shopping at Mecca my faith in them has been restored!!

What a fantastic experience! Every time I come here, I leave smiling whether I have made a purchase or not. The staff are really knowledgeable, friendly, warm & helpful. Given the extensive ranges on offer, the staff all seem to know what they have & where it is. This is often rare to find at beauty counters. Great work Mecca, I will always return!

I have always received fantastic customer service at Mecca Southland. All the girls are so helpful but over the weekend 1 girl really stood out to me. My favourite Hourglass retractable foundation brush had completely broken after 6 months. So I rang the store and they agreed they would replace it for me with absolutely no arguement which was great. I went into store later that day and this particular girl was so helpful I'm really sorry I can't remember her name and she had also helped me out amazingly the week before when picking a new highlighter she helped make the perfect choice!!. She went and helped me pick up the brush and gave me some more care advice. She was so lovely and was genuinely happy to help.  Thanks Mecca Southland. I can't wait to visit again!!

I don't usually write reviews. But I just needed to say my piece today as I was so impressed with service and my experience.  I went into mecca today looking for an eye cream, and I was help by the lovely Lesley.  She was so helpful, and it actually felt like she genuinely wanted help me, rather than push me for a sale.  I have been in the beauty industry my self for over 10 years, and sometimes it's nice to treat yourself, and gain even more knowledge from your peers. Thank you again Lesley. If you ever go to mecca Southland ask for her.

I have been shopping at Mecca for the day they opened up. The service mostly has been good, I use to shop at the Brighton store but now only go to the southland store where I have had nothing but out standing service from a staff member called Laura  she is the tall beautiful blonde Her service is absolutely outstanding  I use to be a manager so my standards are high I now only go to see Laura as she knows her products and has a deep passion for her job. I never leave reviews but Laura needs to be acknowledge for her great work.

I love the newly renovated Mecca at Southland! The staff here are so lovely, this has quickly become my favourite Mecca store in Melbourne. Their stock levels are always good, the staff are so generous with giving out samples, and the overall vibe is just so cool.

Wow. Went to the newly renovated store. They had about 6 staff on floor, 3-4 customers including myself and not one came to help me as they were busy gossiping near the entrance!!! I wanted to find foundation and noone approached me even as I was browsing throughout the whole store trying to find my shade. Not one person came up to me to offer any assistance. Yes I could've asked, but why spend my money on a store where the employees don't care. Maybe the case was I'm Asian, as 2 of the other white customers were approached and asked if they needed any help. Really disappointed as I love Mecca and this was the worst experience for me.

The customer service is nothing to brag about here. I've had wonderful service from the Mecca in Myer Bourke St Mall and from the Brighton store, however, I can't say the same from the Southland store. The staff are not attentive and when you finally get some attention, it's unhelpful. Why have a tester our on display when the product itself isn't available to purchase? It took three staff huddled around the computer to tell me that this product had been discontinued over a month ago. Not impressed.

Trying to call the store for the last 2 hours. (95854281) Ridiculous all I want to know if they have a item that I am after in stock so I can quickly go there after work and pick it up. Unbelievable
