There’s a current class action against BCG. A quick google will give you all the details - I won’t say any more as apparently the only contact BCG employees seem to make to their clients are to threaten legal action for defamation. The same people who are already paying tens of thousands extra in mortgages and rents because of this crowd’s greediness in not paying industry rates to their workers in order to honour their commitments. And STILL they continue to lure in new clients with their false promises. Sales team at their various companies will promise your build is done within 8mths or they will pay penalties for each day the build is delayed. What they don’t tell you is that BCG will just issue multiple extensions to avoid this. I’ve had 3 at this point which has pushed out my end date well into 2024. I signed up in 2021. No work has been done on my build for over 6mths. Nobody will respond to my queries in their portal: conveniently there is no number to call. Meanwhile I’m paying ever increasing rent along with a mortgage for well over a year now and I don’t even have a roof. I’ve had to apply for financial hardship with no end in sight as to when I can expect to move in. It’s taken a huge toll on my mental health and I feel completely misled by this company. Houses are going up everywhere else - how are other builders managing to complete their projects in a fraction of the time it takes BCG if their delays are due to ‘shortages in supplies and labourers’ as they are claiming?? If I’d known 2yrs ago what I know now, I would never have signed up. Don’t do it to yourself.
