Warm and friendly staff.nnKing sized bed in our suite was actually two beds pushed together so was rather uncomfortable staying as a couple. Zero effort by housekeeping other than a single sheet holding the two mattresses together.nnAC at the hotel is evaporative so one cant actually change the temp just the fan speed which makes little to no difference. Not sure how the comfort of this hotel would fare in hotter weather.nnWiFi is non existent, so slow in fact that you cant even do a speed test if you're lucky enough to connect. Staff ensured me it was working, which it was not.nnAlso, last occupant had been watching porn on the smart TV as we were gifted a screenshot of their last showing of XXX dot com soon after it was switched ion. Whilst this may not be the fault of the hotel its not something my partner and I want to find soon after checking in.nnPool is completely out of action so half of the ground floor is a construction site. Thankfully no noise during our stay though.
Do not book in the next few months if you want some quiet time. They are renovating the indoor pool. Rooms are a nice size and shower nice and hot but dont let anyone flush the toilet if you are in there or you will get scalded. We had an evacuation while we were there and staff were useless at communicating what to do or what was going on.
Needs renovation, spa loud & only 1/2 the jets work. Scum around sides, Not clean. Shower pressure probs, hard to regulate.nOther than that room great.nBooked this room & paid extra for the spa, disappointed .
This hotel has a great location but is showing its age and thus a bit overpriced. Would appear to be some major work been done, I.e. swimming pool. WiFi was very slow, TV did not work correctly after 4 requests, which resulted in a short-term fix. fixed it myself, which contributed to my feeling that place was overpriced despite the advantage of location. Did not use any other services. Would I stay again? Not likely as there is plenty of other places nearby.
The restaurant Unwind has limited staff so don't expect your meals within the first hour. After our lengthy wait unacceptable if running a hotel of this size the food was edible. Lift your service standards. More staff and back up chefs required.
