Some staff absolutely lovely, some lacking. They offer price match but it's up to $30 cheaper than their advertised $120, for example - so they are charging on the higher end. Took my dog to be treated here once and was disappointed that he wasn't let out to the bathroom in almost 20 hours. Poor buddy unleashed for a solid 5 minutes as we were leaving the store.
This is our go to Pet accessories shop! We just love the staff, and they are more than happy to help with anything. Our 15 year old also sees the Vet team Our Vet at the back of the store, and has been a patient there for 5 years now.
Great store with very nice staff. I was directed to what I needed & the staff member was enthusiastic & knowledgeable. All the staff members engaged with my dog also & I love that.
Disappointed and upset with grooming services. Booked my dog in to get a specific length cut. When we picked up our dog she was cut shorter than what was discussed. The following day we found razor burns on her chest, around her armpits and a large cut under her collar 5cent piece size. Sent an email with photos with no response. Decided to take her back to discuss the issue. I was told from the store manager, that due to our dog having some knots, injuries can occur during the grooming process. Then told me to ‘google it’, but still defended her staff even though they did this to our dog. She later then compared it to getting cut from a hairdresser. However, continued to defend her groomers by saying our dog was ‘not cut’ and they were not at fault. Clearly the vet thought otherwise when they gave us 40 antibiotic tablets and cream. She can’t wear a collar/harness or go on walks until her wounds heal. If you love your pets, please don’t send them to these groomers.
Excellent staff who are very knowledgeable and helpful. They can help you with all your enquiries. We definitely will be back.
Thank you for the wonderful customer service. The past couple visits have been pleasant. Thank you for always price matching. The staff always ask if they can help me take the heavy dog and cat food out to my car. It's the little things that just make the customer service stand out. Even helping me size the right collar for my dog. My dog got lots of love from staff and it was a great experience for her too. I highly recommend this place. Lovely relaxed atmosphere too.
We went in to get a tank set up to get fish for our children. The sales assistant was amazing, very knowledgeable and gave us great tips on how to go about it all. Would definitely recommend
Covers alot of what your pet will need as well as onsite VET so if your pet has a special prescription diet, you see the vet there and then and will be able to get the food in stock for example prescription hills diet or royal canine which you can't now get without vets approval. Supports adoption of cats and sometimes has some onsite which is wonderful to see. The staff are always really good, happy, friendly and helpful.
I’d never do a review but like , they shaved my Maltese Shitzu bald & got rid of his defining features aka tail hair and ears when we didn’t ask for that & he’s been there since he was a puppy so they have him in the system on how to cut his hair. He doesn’t even look like my dog anymore and they charged us $120 for it
I took my Maltese shitzu to best friends pakenham to be groomed I told the girl on the phone how I wanted her to be groomed,and when my husband pick her up he had to look at her teeth as she has one long tooth to see if it was our dog. She came back looking like a chihuahua they cut all the hair off her ears and tail she didn't even look like a Maltese shitzu any more I was horrified and furious to see what they did to her .They are the worst groomers I have ever gone to.Who don't know how to groom a Maltese shitzu especially when you tell them how you want your dog groomed the girl then lied to my husband and told him that I said I wanted a no 7 all over. Which is a blunted lie I don't no what a no 7 is and no way would I ever get her ears and tail shaved off she is a Maltese shitzu for God sake .So people if you love your fur babies do not go to this groomers The photos is what she was supposed to look like and the photo of what I got back very sad.
