Called in a noise disturbance with the neighbour's party getting rowdier after midnight. Very courteous senior constable on the phone took my details and the noise stopped abruptly about 10mins later. Thank you for taking good care of our community.

Reported an elderly man being physically and verbally assulted. After 10 minutes we phoned in again as the elderly man was still being assulted. After 25 minutes the police finally showed. Would hate to think what would have happened if this was a dire situation. Not good enough guys.

If you spent a shift on the van you would soon see why the trivial stuff has to wait. 80% of calls are suicidal psych drug takers and domestic violence. Throw in car accidents, idiot troublemakers, shop lifters and missing persons and that should explain why your sus loiter or noisy party is a low priority. Not ideal but fact.

Not everyone will like the police, but what you don't understand is that the police see more horrible things in a week than we possibly will in our lifetime. The law is what they follow, so don't shoot the messenger because the law doesn't permit you to have the answer you where hoping for. Understand that these people are here to help you, and they would if they could.

Was assaulted by an officer called Owens Lincoln last night. with his partner as a witness. this officer yelled at me telling me he 'knew' who I was calling me a Smartass implying some kind of personal vendetta after I gave a 'no comment' answer because I wanted to stay out of whatever was happening. At this point I did not know why the police where there I gave a no comment answer after Officer Owen got unreasonably aggressive with his name-calling, I started to calmly walk off to defuse the situation. as I got in my car and sat down on the side of the street he opened the door and Capsican sprayed me. If i was detained I was not informed of it, I had not broken any laws and remained passive and calm. There was no reason for this assault, nor the amount of Capsican spray he continued to use after I was already subdued. Watch out for this particular officer!
